Oh yeah, and Naruto has reached his 12th superpower-mode, as expected. Very creative, cannot w8 for the next chapter and the next power-up.

Vegeta blows up a planet with Nappa on his way to Earth, and also attempts to blow up Earth as well. On topic: Naruto is way better with names than I am

More like nowhere near there yet, you only needed a power level of 3,000-ish to destroy a planet if i remember correctly, goku's SSJ1 power level was around 1Mil. I don't think anyone shown in Naruto has had the power to destroy a planet other than perhaps the SO6P. Naruto is a much better manga than Dragonball imo, infact it is without a doubt my favourite manga. That being said it's a little silly to think that the powers exhibited in Naruto are on par with those exhibited in Dragonball.

Remember, the Rikudo Sage saved the world in the past by sealing the Jubi inside him and then splitting it into 9. He also put its body in the moon (which he created) so nobody could get it. Also I think it will benefit Sasuke in some way. Well it's assumed that it is dead, being devoid of all chakra, but Rikudo said "all 9 of you will become one again someday" and "you will know what is true power" etc. Naruto is the one who will turn the evil Jubi into a benevolent being by making friends with its 9 parts. Once the tailed beasts are combined into one, they will remember how Naruto saved them and the Jubi will never ravage the planet again like it did in the past. Also, the recreation of the 10 tails might be important if Naruto needs to kill some ridiculously OP character. (like Kabuto+Orochimaru+Tobi+Madara+Nagato+Itachi morphed together or some crazy thing like that)

So I'm not sure why people are shocked the tailed beasts are able to blow shit up. NOTHING has changed. This awesome power has always existed, and Naruto was always going to be the one to harness it. And I'm also not sure why people are trying to predict the way that future fights will go based solely on the fact that the tailed beasts are powerful. Naruto is not all about big explosions and power levels. You almost never see fights that come down to who-can-shoot-the-biggest-chakra-missile, unless it's beast vs beast. Sasuke isn't going to just stand there and get hit by a tailed beast ball that he can't handle. He'd either dodge it, use a technique to stop or negate it, or prevent it from being fired in the first place. Finally, we have no idea what power Naruto just got from the tailed beasts. It seems they just bumped fists and gave him some chakra, so he won't run out. Tobi still has the beasts in his possession, though, so I don't think Naruto can fully harness all of their power at once... yet.

Perhaps that's something Kishimoto thought of earlier? Because you're blinded with power ( here the Sharingan, with the exception of Kakashi, ofc) you fail to see the changes in your vicinity? That's something really timeless. For example: SOPA, PIPA & ACTA: The people in charge were too blind to see that people were mobilizing, and the surroundings were changing. Same with Dictators in countries like Libya.

Political symbolism in Naruto. I never thought I'd see the day....
