Well as far as Goku goes that started from the story of Seiyuki, Dragonball took a bunch of characters from Seiyuki and made their own stuff from that. Dragonball Z expanded upon that. People that think anime is creative and original, particularly with names, are funny. You wouldn't believe how many people I meet on ladder who go "oh you Naruto fan?" because they think "Kaze" is some unique word that originated from Naruto >_> | ||

Yea after thinking it through and reading the responses yea didnt think that one through...Never heard of the original story that it came from though Only heard the name Goku from DBZ and Kurama from Yu Yu ^_^ (and makes sense Kurama was a fox char from that show >_>) | ||

Kurama from Yu Yu was 蔵馬 and this fox is 九喇嘛. The phonics is the only thing that's similar so could you people stop making a connection with Yu Yu without a source from the author? | ||
