I thought it was pimpin when Naruto smashed 1 of the Pains all fast and sudden. I bet he doesn't use his new rasengan till the last Pain. He will probably just pound the rest with uber strength and imba frog-shadow clones. Frog form for Naruto=win, for Jiraiya=lose cause he was butt ugly. | ||

Well the last chapter that had naruto training talked about how moving + sage mode = looking left and right at the same time, which if you recall, is exactly what naruto said about combining wind into the rasengan, which he solved using shadow clones. So it's probably something similar here. | ||

They say a lot of things, there isn't much detective work. Facts: Pain is investing entirely into God mode. Pain's other 5 bodies are weakened are not recovering as fast as before. Naruto is in sage mode and has learned to control it even while moving. - How? Probably kage bunshin due to the left vs right light bulb, training, and his affinity for them. Naruto DID use rasengan in the attack vs. that body that is in shambles (you can see the energy). There is very little hypothesis in those statements, and then tying the facts together makes the battle progress somewhat evident. | ||

What he can't do is that he can not draw more natural energy again after he engaged sage mode in battle. And the reason he can not draw more natural energy again is because in battle he has be to constantly moving. That's where the little frogs on the shoulder comes in play, because they can stay perfectly still in naruto's shoulder and gather more natural energy while naruto is fighting. My best guess on how naruto solve this problem is first turn into sage mode while hiding somewhere, and then cast 1 bunshin, and then have that bunshin gather natural energy while his real body fight, when he needs more natural energy he will have his hidden bunshin cast another bunshin and then release so all the energy distribute evenly between the newlly created bunshin and naruto. and since natural energy is infinite naruto can do this forever and ever and stay in sage mode forever without the help of those frogs on the shoulder. | ||

Also, by controlling sage mode I meant obviously taking in more nature energy, because otherwise you would be depleting it naturally through abilities and etc. | ||
