The brain they are checking is not Pain's. Remember when Jiraiya first got into the Rain country and tricked 2 guys into entering the bar( huge frog)? He tortured 1 guy and turned him into a frog, while the other guy escaped when Jiraiya was found by Konan. The brain Ibiki and the interrogation squad are checking is the guy that was turned into a frog, they are trying to find any info about Pain. And Shizune was investigating the other body, one of Pain's bodies for info on how to beat Pain. I hope next chapter isnt filled with memories 'n flashbacks | ||

Regardless id rather see sasuke show up to kill the elders, find the village in ruin then pwn pain, and kill elders, then leave, or see kiba, hinata and shino open up a can of godlike death, anything but frog naruto. | ||
