I don't think Kakashi will die, it's not a fitting death for such a main character as him. And Kishimoto said in an interview at the end of 07 that in 08 kakashi would have a major event, and said it was NOT death, and that the colour could be described at dark blue.

Next chapter I think Kakashi will get healed by Katsuyu, after he has a flashback.
Animal Realm + Human realm are going to kill like 90% of the people at the interrogation room. I can see only Shizune and Ino surviving. Which means ibiki and Inoichi are going to die, plus countless fodder/noname. Choji will show up as their retreating and bugger off somewhere.

Damn, it looks like Kakashi actually dies based on the spoilers for this week's issue. Man that's sad.
