Mostly due to chakara type differences since higher lvl skills requires each ninja's native chakara type to preform, and he only has lightning base. Where as Sasuke has both lightning and Fire, which allows him to develop his mealstorm you will see later on. I guess that's true, but that is why I said with uncertainty that I haven't seen anyone else use it in a fight. The amount of fights we have seen done by Itachi against skilled opponents is low, for example. I was just listing it as a possibility. | ||

Who knows, maybe it took Itachi's eye form because Itachi used his eye to program that into Sasuke's brain, using it as a projector after the activation. The projector had to put the image on an appropriate canvas - that of a sharingan user's eye. It simply doesn't make sense for people who don't have the sharingan to use MS as they saw fit. The whole catch of MS is that it is unique and exclusive to people who underwent a traumatic trial, so making it so easy to pass off to others seems unlikely, especially outside the Uchiha. I don't think it ever explicitly said that Sasuke killing Itachi gave him MS, either. | ||
