Honestly it’s not a complicated show though; jump in anywhere and you’ll get the hang of it quickly. But yeah, the procession is DB -> Z -> GT or Super. | ||

As for GT, it's never really been considered canon since the original creator didn't have much to do with it. Now with Super being a thing, I'd say it's even less canon than before. I'd probably watch it after Z + Super if I were new to the series. It's a fun show for sure but it's not necessary to rush into because it's basically a standalone these days  | ||

I will say for DB that it does make Goku a more sympathetic character than Z alone, and gives more credence to him always being the star of the show. | ||

And anyone saying to watch Z first, NOPE. Don't do it that way. It misses the budakai importance. And how powerful some chars eere before sayans arrived. Also it shows DBs beginning as mainly gags with some action, which influenced every shounen after it. | ||

Honestly I'd suggest starting with Z but watching some youtube Videos of Dragon Ball for aditional context (which you dont really need for Z). Watch Goku vs King Picolo, Goku and his granpa Gohan, Goku proposes to milk (this one is hilarious) and youre good. Watch Z and catch up with super. Then if you want watch the original, imo. | ||

18: robots? 17: robots trying to save 18? Gohan: Toppo Frieza: no idea, Jiren? Vegeta: Jiren Goku: Jiren Dyspo loses to 17, Frieza, Goku, Vegeta. Probably loses to Gohan if Gohan powers up against robots. Toppo likely loses to everyone except Gohan. I think vegito beats Jiren with or without UI. What if Vegito uses hakai to destroy Jiren, leaving Frieza as last man man standing after vegito disqualified lol | ||
