Anyone watch it? The previews made it out to be an X-Men rip-off, but I thought it was really good. Can't wait till next week.
+ Show Spoiler +I really liked how they intertwined every character, but at the same time, it's going to take a lot of eps to fully explore and develope each one dynamically. I love the asian. The preview for next week is pretty cool too, how the asian saw himself in that comic.. the artist's painting of New York.. I think this show has some potential.

theres a bus that goes around berkeley with the advertisement for this show, and instead of 'heroes' ... it says 'hoes' in the same font

I just noticed it on MySpace, but it was what 9 PM? I saw it like 10 minutes ago on MySpace. :/ Maybe I'll catch it next week.

It's just Lost with a different plot.

Different characters, different title, and different plot = nothing like Lost.
The Japanese guy, I think name Hiro is so cute the way he acts ahaha.. Yatta!

So far from Lost... what parallels are you drawing between Heroes and Lost, gLyo?
I have to say I will probably be watching more TV this year, sadly but Mondays definitely seem to be reserved for Heroes. The plot seems rather overplayed but the writers did a good job keeping my interest.
+ Show Spoiler + And like Meta said, how they interwined almost all the characters on the first episode was pretty cool, for a lack of a better word. I'm curious though, what's the power of that women who was doing the online strip show? My housemate was joking about how she has some super strong alter ego, etc.
If you missed it tonight, you can catch the encore tomorrow, same time at 9 PM. If you have time, I'd recommend watching just the first episode and see how it sits with you.
And I find Hiro rather amusing. He's almost like an extrovert Piro, from Megatokyo.

+ Show Spoiler + From the first episode (which, I admit, is very little to go on), it looks like this will be a mysterious science fiction series with many different characters who are all connected and have questionable pasts: the teenage girl whose parents won't tell her who he real parents are, the porn star with a child who owes someone fifty grand and the teenage girls father being the guy who is ransaking the Idian fellows apartments. Pieces of information are often alluded to (explosion over new york, Japanese guy talking about a test to be a true hero), but rarely completely revealed.
Lost is essentially the same thing. Just because the plot and characters are different doesn't mean it can't be almost the exact same thing.

I watched the first episode a second time tonight (watched it on yahoo.com last week when they had it on there) because i really liked it the first time...the writing is actually pretty good..i picked up a few things the second time like how the japanese guy is named "hiro" and the brothers' mom tells that one dude how he "hero worships" his brother. Too bad it looks like this show will go up against 24 in january

Im watching it right now, it's interesting. I don't get the Lost nor Prison Break feeling though. Not yet at least.

Only if you look at the aspect of the main characters having superhuman powers out to save the world... >_>
I guess The 4400 is more like Heroes than Lost is, tbh.

its like lost because they're trying be cute by hidding little secrets in the background of scenes they're trying too hard
like how predictable was it that the blonde's dad was the guy from the apartment...
the shows alright i guess
