They toned down the cheesyness and all that stupid bs, here's hoping they keep improving. Also Firefly was terrible, if anything this is 10 times better compared to that. Whoa whoa, calm down. Do you want the ENTIRE Internet after you?

Speaking of which, it turns out that she attempted to become a Chinese pop star before she became an actress. She was born Chole Wang and changed her name to Chloe Bennett at some point.

I'm not yet good with character names so bear with me. Cavalry is their version of Hulk Coulson is Fury (obvious I know) Solo Agent is Thor Computer Hacker girl is Stark (Chloe Bennet) The 2 scientists, if they continue to be in the field, would be Hawkeye and Black Widow (from a weakness in the field standpoint when it comes to being different from the reality/plane in which their team mates exist) Ep1 is assembling the team part of the movie Ep2 is the establishing a common enemy part of the movie to allow them to work properly together (Coulson death). That's what I feel is what is being done here. But most likely they will add a character or two more to add to the team given the "revalation" at the end. Maybe one of them will a super, mutate or mutant? My two cents

The show is so so right now, but starting to drop to terrible when episode 2 ended. I'm willing to give it a chance still since it's early in the series.

Also the villain (not naming for those who don't watch previews for what ever reason) is a heavy weight, so we might get a hero appearance as well, which should make for a good episode if Weeden is involved. + Show Spoiler + though from the description im reading it almost seems like hes not a villain or anywhere close yet either...

I still think there is a lot of potential for this show if they do things right. That's how I feel, but because it's Whedon I always give him a season, while other shows get three episodes chance to convince me. I gave up on Dollhouse after three episodes, and then half way through the second season I watched all of season one, caught up, and loved it. I'll still hold strong for this show.

I will still definitely be watching for at least a couple more episodes and hope that the characters make themselves a little more likeable. Also the asian pilot lady is annoying the hell out of me ;-; He's not writing anything besides the pilot (which was mediocre at best)? Yeah, not promising. At all. Might not watch the 3rd ep. Hell, I barely watched the 2nd as it was so crappy and predictable.

Still holding out hope, but remember it's Jed, not Joss. My hope is that it's just one of those things where it takes a bit to hit its stride. Buffy was terrible first season. First few episodes of Dollhouse were dull and formulaic. Maybe SHIELD gets better. It's definitely weak right now, but it's fun enough to watch, so I'll give it my patience.

My response is yes, like the plague. In fact, if you could choose between the plague and this show, I'd be very tempted to choose the plague. It's not even so much that the show is bad (it's soooooo bad) it's that it's bad with so much potential and so much expectation. Like it all you want, I hope it has a ton of fans so it can stay on the air and turn around, but I can't stomach it. The acting is awful, which single-handedly turns me off to the series in it's entirety. I love J August Richards, but wtf was he even doing that first episode? So much fan-service kinda just thrown in there for seemingly no reason (hey lets reference this and this from the movies/comics, that's bound to get nerd attention!). I kind of feel insulted by it, as if they think of me as part of a formula that's so simply targeted. Don't get me wrong, the universe requires some reference back and forth, but it seems so forced and just not enjoyable. I don't know if I can stick around with it, I simply don't think I have it in me. I'm weak, I know :<

My two cents not quite ... shield is very much their own characters, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.H.I.E.L.D also they already had samuel L do a cameo as fury
