He says she thought Fitz would get better with her gone which doesn't sound like her and when someone accused her of abandoning him, Coulson said she wasn't. Also, thanks to this thread I found out this was back on. It's really weird to have it end in May and start again in September. | ||

"If you cut off one head two more will grow" "Well in that case we'll keep the current number of heads but actively try to negate all their efforts" or "If you cut off one head two more will grow" "I don't think that your motto is literally true, if the number of heads that regrows averages less than one it's probably still a net gain for us" or "If you cut off one head two more will grow" "I don't accept that premise as true" | ||

It's not that difficult to write lines that both sound cool and also make sense. It's the same shit as Bruce Banner claiming "I'm angry all the time" to explain how he can control the hulk. If he's angry all the time then he'd be the hulk all the time according to every established rule of hulk canon. Lazy writing should not be excused. | ||

Because she was standing in for SHIELD's failed approach; troubleshoot little problems here and there, not noticing that the big problem (and the root problems) are festering and gaining strength. Which is definitely not a metaphor for US foreign policy. | ||
