That's why i called him Gunn. He'll always be Angel's sidekick to me

And yeah, that was pretty dumb.
If she was so convinced he is a nazi and whatnot, she should have let him die.
Then again; this is the more believable way to go; she can't just kill him like that. She's not a killer (yet)

They really seem to be setting him up for redemption -.-

I hope he goes out like a bad guy. I hope he shoots Skye and she friggin Hulks out and rips him in half with her 084 powers or something. Because if I have to see another really good face-heel turn arc ruined by "oh, I'm a bad guy but I'm going to turn on my masters because of LOOOVE", I'm going to scream.

If they give Ward redemption, I hope it is at least fueled by him realizing how much of an idiot he is rather than love.. But honestly, I'd rather see him die or become more villainous. Right now he seems to be all "I owe Garret so much, blah blah blah.." which, to me, makes him whiny and delusional.

Right now I'd prefer it if Triplett replaced Ward next season. I would hate it for Ward to be let back on the team after killing so many SHIELD agents (especially if Triplett ends up dying this season, too). If nothing else, at least let Ward die a villain instead of being redeemed.

Wards a dead man. Trip is his replacement for season 2. That said I think Ward is gonna die saving Skye somehow. I just don't see them letting May or Coulson do the killing.

As for Skye using the LAPD to try and arrest Ward it makes sense. She has no shield training. Everything she's learned is purely in the field. Shes in a position with a wanted terrorist so naturally she should call the police. Shield is dead so thats a no go and I doubt she knows how to contact the NSA/CIA. FBI would have been the other logical choice as the situation shes in would have protocol and rules that would be taught at the academy or something I'd assume

I would like to see Ward bad a little while longer, He hasn't been bad enough for his redemption to mean anything to the viewers. We got to shield back up and running by the time Avengers 2 comes around so I am thinking that is where the next season will be heading.

i personally don't hate ward as much as most here. i feel the season has set ward up to show there's humanity left in him. the next episode premiere is attempting to portray his background which serves no other purpose than to either truly solidify that he's a sick fuck that can't change or that he's been confused and misled his entire life.

there's what 1 or 2 episodes left? i mean thinking about it logically, there's literally nothing shield agents can do with what they currently have to work with. the only way they're getting out of this one is if ward betrays garret which he will, and create an opening for shield to infiltrate garret's base. i'm sure the catalyst to the betrayal lies in the fail-safe garret used against ward (the heart stopper tech). it won't bode well for ward having known there was a possibility he couldn't be trusted to accomplish the mission by the man he pledged his undying loyalty to.

for a man like garret to even hint at the possibility of prioritizing the mission over the loyalty of his double agent and the fact one can't be trusted, is going to break ward mentally. odds are in wards favor he'll be saved, i doubt he ever experienced acceptance into a "family" and "real love" before joining shield which will be his salvation.

The idea of redemption for Ward is ridiculous. He killed 2+++ cops alone this episode. He's killed 6++ shield agents. There's absolutely no way he's accepted back in to the team.

The way I see it, Ward will kill Garrett but won't die this season. He'll be a recurring neutral character and will slowly try to redeem himself. He will die in the series finale.
