I was pretty disappointed. So much hype, everyone was acting like jcole was the new eminem or some shit. Idk why I bought into the hype, probably coz he has decent songs that I like. | ||

ok poster below sorry  This probably doesn't class as hip hop, but its deifnitely rap. The lyrical content and the urgency in the music and delivery really have an emotional 'punch' to them imho, a similar feeling to some of eminem's darker stuff, without the humour. Hard to listen without feeling something. | ||

There's a couple good tracks in there but I didn't understand the people who were saying it was better than FNL or Born Sinner also j cole's "white people are taking over hip hop like they did to jazz" thing is annoying | ||

Disclaimer - this song is older but I just found it. I know Hopsin is a controversial figure in hip hop, but I think he does really well on this grimy flow and beat. Especially on his first verse. Rectum + Ashe Ketchum lol | ||
