+ Show Spoiler + This surprised me (if nothing else, listen to the second verse. It's masterful): + Show Spoiler + And in case you want to listen to this for an hour and some change: + Show Spoiler + Moar remixezz: + Show Spoiler + This one is good too, but imo it lacks the bite of the original: + Show Spoiler + On December 06 2014 09:56 darthfoley wrote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pDL57_Ylzx0 Edit: That was awesome.

I was pretty disappointed. So much hype, everyone was acting like jcole was the new eminem or some shit. Idk why I bought into the hype, probably coz he has decent songs that I like.

ok poster below sorry ![]() This probably doesn't class as hip hop, but its deifnitely rap. The lyrical content and the urgency in the music and delivery really have an emotional 'punch' to them imho, a similar feeling to some of eminem's darker stuff, without the humour. Hard to listen without feeling something.

Its what i'd expect for how much j cole's potential was for a few years, finally consistent and didnt bore me on the first play through like his last album. but not mindblowing. also yall gotta stop posting videos without explaining what you like or why you posted it. im probably guilty of it too but spark some discussion yo.

There's a couple good tracks in there but I didn't understand the people who were saying it was better than FNL or Born Sinner also j cole's "white people are taking over hip hop like they did to jazz" thing is annoying

Disclaimer - this song is older but I just found it. I know Hopsin is a controversial figure in hip hop, but I think he does really well on this grimy flow and beat. Especially on his first verse. Rectum + Ashe Ketchum lol

Unless of course it is like the Kendrick Lamar untitled song debut I posted, which just speaks for itself =P.

Colbert makes a joke about him having a hard time getting life insurance as a leader of west coast rap/hip-hop, but damn man I have a feeling he's going to be dangerous to the establishment when he gets older. I'd like to hear him on a Compton response to this. Not really a Big Sean fan but his verse was alright. But of course Em killed it. (DETROIT!) I can't never leave this bitch Sick of bein' treated like me and shit But Jesus, I can see just why people quit callin' me to do features And them cyphers on BET cause if I wasn't me I probably wouldn't want to play with me neither, shit
