Either way, I dl'd and watched the first 2 episodes of season 1, seemed to be more of the same. Guess the show is just not for me, oh well.
Well that's what the episode run-through is supposed to do...give you enough information for the current episode. As I recall, "24" did a similar style intro to catch up the viewer...so I doubt your prediction amounts to much.

I actually just started watching this from episode 1 last night... i was up until 4 in the morning watching the first 6 episodes... SO GOOD!! Mike "Boss" Ross and Harvey are just absolutely fantastic. Can't stop watching this show, would highly recommend

I think a lot of people are underestimating having a fake lawyer working for months at a huge law firm. Every document he signs, every case that hes looked at could be overturned and subject to retrial because of his lack of a license. This all ties back to ruining the reputation of both Harvey and Jessica and possibly even Louis.
They make it seem serious on the show because it is.

People know. Some of those people hate him (eventually depending on which episode you're on) and+ Show Spoiler + there is a guy coming in trying to take over the firm that harvey and jessica black mailed out of the firm prior to the show starting. So they're all fighting to keep multiple bombs from exploding in their faces. Also the love story etc that's been going on for awhile.

One of the best shows on TV by far. LOVE IT! I love a lot of USA network shows though so I'm prob biased.

Well, I am not arguing whether the show is good or bad, so I don't see a reason for you to argue what constitutes a bad show. I was making a point about what puts someone in a good position to judge it. I think you missed my main point, and went on to make a lot of unnecessary assumptions. A show is going to be short-lived because it can't satisfy one viewer who jumps straight into season two instead of watching season one? That's just baseless. The fact of the matter is that I don't expect anything from "vast majority of" viewers. Not sure why you are making things up. It's their choice how much entertainment and pleasure they derive from the show, and watching the first season is essentially a prerequisite for doing so. It's hard to extract the full value out of a show without doing that, even though shows still try to make it somewhat sensible by doing quick summaries at the beginning. I never said any of the things you assume, and you are the one making the biggest assumption of them at all. Can't be enjoyable jumping into season two -> short-lived has no basis. Have you considered that most people who watch season two are those who followed season 1 and perhaps those who bothered watching it on the Internet? And those who don't watch season two don't do so because they didn't like season one? That it attracts enough viewers it will continue for a long time despite some viewers who didn't like season two because they didn't watch season one? It's bold for you to argue that shows that do not make it fun to watch season two having not watched season one do not last long. As an anecdote, I tried to get some friends into Game of Thrones and they watched a couple season two episodes with me, and they thought it was boring. Does this mean this show will die not too far from now? My argument was that watching season two having skipped the entire season one does not put you in a good position to judge the merits of the show, and that's a fact. It makes sense to give the show a legitimate chance before jumping to a conclusion that it's bad. Then the person is free to form his opinion, and I have no business trying to change that.

Watched first 7 episodes so far, its pretty good I like all the characters, the plots decent but could be a little better but I think all the good actors make up for it.
Only thing I don't like is the cheesy law and order type music that happens sometimes, probably just me though lol

It's similar to shows like House in that regard but there is a clear overarching storyline which will allow the show to end. (i hope)
