Cannot have a meaningful fight/conflict between two characters without one of them being 9000x stronger than the other and one-shotting them. Urek doesn't even have to try and the fight between him and Karaka was already decided before it started. Karaka was supposed to be a badass but some random overpowered shmuck showed up and he has to run away. Why would anyone even care about characters other than the top 10 fighters? Everyone else is useless and just gets in the way. May as well have a giant cleanse of the tower, getting rid of everyone who isn't in the top 100. | ||

May as well have a giant cleanse of the tower, getting rid of everyone who isn't in the top 100. this was pretty much my issue with urek's arrival and his strength. the story loses so much depth when the audience realises that the current main characters are worthless dogshit in the main scope of things. at least keep them relevant until they all get stronger and get beat down with a little more effort, instead of bringing in rank 3 of the tower to show how every character we've seen right now may as well not exist | ||

Also, Urek might be OP, but he's got his own reasons for not doing shit about anything. He's probably not suitable to engage Zahard himself, because Urek can't destroy him or something. I don't get why people are so focused on power(rankings) or battles for that matter. Sure they need to battle and sure, you know sidecharacters won't play a serious role in them. But Bam still needs them and that's what matters. No? | ||

He IS an irregular, that's pretty much the only requirement, right? I just view Wolhaiksong as another superpower in the tower, on par with the entirety of FUG, 10 Great Families, The Workshop or Zahard himself. Given how small they are, they need some stacked dudes in there to stay a relevant world-changing organization. I do understand the complaint that other side characters apart from Kuun are getting way too weak compared to Baam, as it often tends to happen. A few of them are still combat relevant, Ran, Sachi Faker and the 2 princesses mainly, but everyone else seems horribly out of their league. They just jumped on the Baam Hypetrain and choo choo'd their way through the hell train to floors they have no business being in. Most of the weak ones left before the floor of death iirc, right? Does anyone remember who are all the chars on floor of death currently? There's too many chars for me to keep track of. xd | ||
