As for the event, first of all I'd like to say it's a great initiative and props to Agony for doing it. Now I'm sorry if I sound like bit of a buzzkill but I don't know if I can really contribute. If it is a competition I'll concede right away, I'd hate to have my simpler images up against Saur's skilled and awesome art. Also, I can't draw others' requests, it's too stressful to perform when I have someone to please (I'm speaking art-wise, pervs). Lastly, I don't think I can draw anything in 30 minutes, I make so many mistakes that it takes hours to finish a drawing for me. I decided to watch that recommended episode from OP's post with full dedication to try and understand why MLP has brutally large fan base of... well... not young girls.

I'll just say I am now even more scared. Kinda scared for real.

AT LEAST I tried I honestly tried to be open and understand how is it possible that something made for young girls has 20+ adults gather and discuss Ponies, and I am proud of myself; but it seems I am not open minded enough to accept the fact something called "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic" - show about bunch of girl Ponies in fairy land - has qualities that can capture attention of average adult male.
