I really want this flashback theory to come true; I've wanted backstory for Luna and Celestia for the longest time, and I think the story of them defeating Discord would be an awesome addition to the mythos. | ||

I'd love a bit more backstory on the battle between Luna, Celestia and Discord as was hinted at during the return of harmony episodes indeed. It could answer alot of questions about the royal sisters and a great opportunity for an interesting action packed episode, perhaps in season 3? or through flashbacks as was mentioned. We can only wait and see what happens. :p | ||

As a cancer survivor, I get to enjoy the thrill of wondering whether or not it will ever flare up again, prompting another lengthy process of chemotherapy. With a diagnosis as good as mine (as good as it can get when the word "cancer" gets involved), I honestly don't think about it much, and yet it still weighs on my shoulders every time I go in for an MRI. The doctor's visit a week later - where you get to hear the results of the blood tests and the MRI - can be a tense and nervous visit, and it definitely was that for the first year or so. There's always a chance the cancer can come back. Every time you hear it hasn't, you smile with relief and begin the wait anew. I went to the hospital today for one of these routine checkups. The night before, I wore my Rainbow Dash paint shirt and sat in #tlponies and talked about my apprehension. I didn't get to chat for long - it was late at night, and I had an early morning and I had to pack my stuff. (I always bring my laptop. It has ponies.) Even then, I got a dozen well wishes, with fervent requests to keep them posted about the results of the checkup. People e-brohoof'd me, and I went to bed. I can't thank you guys enough for that. Just getting to talk about it for a bit, to people who give a shit - ON THE INTERWEBS, MIND YOU - was enough to make me happy, and I appreciated every single sentiment of good health that I received. Then I come back today to report success at owning cancer in the face, and everyone is happy to hear from me. And then Camail posts 101 Lunas.
