I just today realized how much of a good thing this show has been for me, when I was listening to various pony songs from the show to calm down while getting frustrated while writing a 30 page paper for school.

On a similar note, I have had Smile^3 play in my head manually whenever I felt frustrated. It's somewhat effective, like a Litany against Stress.
There is considerable soothing power in this show...

@GGTemplar: It sounds very interesting - a lot of things like that sound very interesting in summary and then you have to look at all the details which quickly make it either boring or difficult to grasp. The former is the case with history for me - the latter with math-related stuff.

It's a lot less interesting than it sounds, I should know. It's semi-interesting to learn about the basics, but when you start getting into the details it basically comes down to "People are greedy".

It was all math, lab reports, and engineering design projects, very tedious.
