what I hated the most in that episode was the fact that they saved ponies only to humiliate RD, so if they wouldn't want to do that they would let these ponies die?? MMDW also was always in the right place, how did they knew that something bad is about to happen and find time to dress up in the costume? I know that in previous episodes there were illogical situations(like super-powerful Twilight not even attempting to stop Rainbow Dash with her magic in The Return of Harmony pt2) but never an entire episode relied on these

I'm starting to think the fanclub thing was a jab at us bronies. It's probably wishful thinking but I still think it was.

I completely disagree with others, this episode was quite enjoyable, even better than Sisterhooves Social. Most of the other episodes had huge turnoffs for me (Cutie Pox = worst), this one was without any serious flaws.

I absolutely thought it was enjoyable, it just wasn't as good as the others objectively.

It reminded me a bit of Suited for Success. A lot of Dash fans enjoyed it, and the fact that it vilified the other 5 a bit made fans of the others dislike it, but the difference is that her development here wasn't positive like Rarity's was then, and focused more on the most unlikable things about her, namely her desire to win and to be famous.

Do you remember the episode where they introduced pinky sense?

I don't get what the obsession about humiliating her is about. The only reason RD would feel humiliated is because she isn't the one actually saving anything, it's like breaking her pride, she did the humiliating to herself. What they were trying to do, in my opinion, was to show her how to be a proper hero, like how they acknowledged at the end they didn't want her to stop being Ponyville's hero.

I feel like I like this episode more than other fans think I should. By no means my favorite, but I say that about most episodes yet I love them all. I did think it was weird because it seemed more suspenseful and full of action than other episodes, but it was a nice lesson, sort of an expansion on the idea of being a braggart and how it just bothers people and shows how insincere you can be except it's very different from Boast Busters in that she used lies and very specific tricks to make herself look better, RD just got caught up in the moment and let her ego get ahead of caring about people.

It was a really cheesy episode to say the least and over the top with the problems that happened, but I kind of liked that ridiculousness. The only problem I really had with it is is that it was yet another episode about RD, and she is getting kind of boring. We need more Pinkie and AJ this season, but we have plenty more episodes for that.
