Keep being awesome, TL brones. You are truly the best facet of the brony community. You are why I'm such a hardcore brony.

No, this is not a joke/trolling thread. We don't need more filler posts asking if it is. Remember to spoiler season 6 content, and clearly label your spoilers.

Congrats everypony for reaching 300 pages.

Cane already posted this in his set of PMV's as the first in the list, but I think it needs extra attention because it is what converted me: At this point in my life I'm a philosophy major in my Sophomore year, and really I have almost no idea what I'm going to do, but I'll get there eventually and things will turn out well. Now, during a lull in summer activity I was introduced to a game called Osu! . This game is almost entirely jpop, touhou, and night core and I feel in love with it. Specifically nightcore. I hold a complicated view on what music should be and somehow this fits in, the pacing and pitch of the voices just make me feel awesome. Oh, so this is a pony thread, right? Probably would be a good idea to say something about ponies...Well we come to me about 14 weeks ago, and I spot a small thread about MLP. At first I pay no attention to it, it was about 35 pages and it was just a cartoon. But,then I just watch more of it. I started with Dragonshy and skipped around for a bit. Sooner than later I managed to watch all of Season 1 without even realizing. STILL, I didn't think of myself as a brony. It was a good show and I've watched plenty of niche shows without being as obsessed as I've seen bronies become. Ok, alright, it was a good show, so I decided to post in the thread that had been multiplying behind my back. There wasn't anything significant about the comment, it's mostly me being annoyed about them saying anypony all the time (still irks me a little). The point is that I began to be a part of this community, and it started feeling great to see -- you know what, you guys are here and you know what we do so in stead of making a list that could bore to the center of the Earth I'll spare you -- and all of the great people. I don't know if this show would be as good without the content it creates. Ah yes, now we come to the video in question. I think I've mindlessly babbled on without less-than-coherency for long enough. This video combined a great many things. And while it was during the fantastic Mare-A-Thon that I confessed my bronydom (which Cane and his helpers did a fantastic job on, thank you guys so much), this video is the reason. The hastened action and agression of the genre pieced with the epicness of Rainbow Dash gives me chills every time I watch it. And not just nerd chills that Artosis has flooded to market with, I lose core body temperature when watching this. Every. Fucking. Time. The synching isn't perfect, but the music makes me feel jacked! C'mon it's fucking RAINBOWDASH! I'm not a guy who holds emotion too high on his personality totem pole but this makes me feel better than I've felt in a long time. This was a pretty terrible post, but I'll submit it anyway. I might actually sit down and write something in detail (or even plan it out) later, but for page 300 I felt like adding a bit of personal flavor was what this thread deserved from me. Here's to another 300, bronies! Now to watch the new episode!

+ Show Spoiler [After viewing] + Not my favorite episode, was a bit too predictable, it could have been cool if it was Trixie that matured and RD realizing that she's just like her old self when she brags too much. Oh well, it's the FIRST episode that I don't "love" so far, it had to happen eventually ^^

Didn't like this episode as much. There were good moments (like the opening) but I didn't really like the message of the episode. Yeah, being arrogant and bragging about something is incredibly annoying and not behavior befitting a true hero, but humiliating your friend and making her depressed isn't much better. Surely there was a better way to teach Rainbow Dash a lesson.

+ Show Spoiler + It was fun and predictable, but I'm not the biggest fan. It's a lesson learned but not really anything groundbreaking, I give it 8 ponies. I want a Fluttershy/AJ episode now.

+ Show Spoiler + I enjoyed the episode a lot. Really great moral at the end and so many clever references. I shat myself when the Batman theme came on. That was also some god tier trolling on Dashie that would make even Trolestia proud. It didn't take me long to figure out the "twist", though I assume they were going for dramatic irony with that; letting us the audience know what was going to happen but not the characters, unlike episode 5 where it's meant to catch us offguard just as much as it did Sweetie Belle. These two consecutive Dashie episodes showed some very interesting sides to her and are nice to view side by side. As usual, I left with a smile on my face. Not the strongest episode of the season to be sure, but not the weakest either.

+ Show Spoiler + I did not really enjoy this episode, mostly because the timing of the episode i cant do 2 dahsie episodes in a row. It felt way to much like the last episode minus a good song, the middle 15 minutes of the episode was just dashies self indulgence much like "may the best pet win". The only things that i really enjoyed about this episode was the start (RD fanclub) and the unmasking. I hope they can do better with Dashies character for the rest of the season, she is falling super quickly in my power ranking :/ i don't even think this episode would crack my top 15. also MFW dashie fanboys take over the IRC ![]() oh well i guess i got a rarity episode to be a fanboy in next week

+ Show Spoiler + Weakest episode this season. Used a lot of the common superhero tropes but did not try to subvert them; there was nothing interesting going on to the side. Really didn't like the machinery and dams, they do not fit with the setting. No problem with the twist or lesson, but I expect more from FiM.

Think this was the writer's first episode, so it's understandable that it's not the best ever. Pacing was good, lots of subtle references, even if it was sorta predictable and the lesson was largely a repeat of Trixie's. Probably the weakest of the season so far, but it was good. Nyanbow Dash is now canon: + Show Spoiler + ![]()

seems like I cannot dislike RD episodes although it's definitely one of the weaker episodes this season so far (still better than The Cutie Pox though, and perhaps roughly even with Lesson Zero) anyway I guess it's one of those episodes that JT mentioned where someponies will learn something that they'll forget in the next episode anyway and be back to square one

Worst episode this season IMO. Because you really couldn't show the rest of the cast, it was an episode of Dash displaying over exaggerated negative traits the entire episode.+ Show Spoiler + I have a feeling that the next episode will be the exact same but with rarity. And the baby pony was... odd. edit: lol, nice catch Daralii
