Yeah, I've noticed that too, and it makes perfect sense; you want to collaborate with the most level-headed pony, and AJ tops that list. She's going to give you the frank, no bs advice that for somepony who's as analytical and arguably neurotic as Twilight is, can be easy to miss.

If there really are "between 10 and 20" songs this season are they all going to be in one episode or something? Like Cutie Mark Chronicles except we just have solos for each character one after another for 22 minutes. (That would be awesome..)

All of this debate over best pony is silly, it's clearly Rainbow Dash. She made the entire mane 6 discover their callings, all by herself, so if it wasn't for her, there wouldn't be a show! You can't forget those voice cracks either, and filly Dashie is so cute that it's almost lethal.
