That drama has a better revenge scenario and plot that's actually entertaining. Best revenge drama I've watched, probably one of the first kdramas I've legitly watched, was temptation of wife. That shit is so legitly good, but also so long since it was a daily drama. The guy gave up his future for the love of his life who proceeded to completely screw him over. Pretty good motivation to take her down imo. Also, the power struggle isn't a separate storyline like you make it out to be. What happens between the Eun Gi and Jae Hee directly influences Ma Ru's revenge plot. I haven't seen a revenge drama before, but I have a hard time believing that this is a mediocre one compared to others.
Maru turned himself into the police even after Jae Hee wanted to confess. Kind of shows that he made that decision on his own, to screw his life over. Then there was that misunderstanding with the money, which just stemmed more misunderstandings, and now that people can't tell just talk with each other about their problems, they want to hurt each other. WTF.
Bad Guy: Main character lives a happy live with his family. Then one day, he's taken into the house of rich people because it turns out that he's the illegimate child of the family's father. The mom gets pissed, gets him a paternity test with the dad, fakes the results so they make it so that he's not blood related when he is. They kick him out, kill his parents, brings in another kid, a fake kid, to replace his role in the family, and boom he wants revenge. He seduces the youngest daughter of the family, then seduces the older sister at the same time, while ruining all the other members of the family for revenge.
Temptation of Wife: From wikipedia Goo Eun Jae (played by actress Jang Seo Hee) graduated as a make-up artist major at a university and began preparations to study abroad in France. Her dreams to study in France are halted by a pregnancy with Jung Gyo-Bin (played by actor Byun Woo-Min) after he took advantage of her when she was drunk. She decided to marry him and give up her dreams in order to be a responsible mother for her unborn child. Eun-Jae's pregnancy soon ended in tragic miscarriage. Eun-Jae was trying to protect her mother in law, Baek Mi-in, when she was pushed down the steps by a creditor of the said in-law. Eun-Jae fell and lost her baby. It took a long time until Eun-Jae became pregnant again.
At about the same time when Eun Jae found out about her second pregnancy, Shin Ae-Ri (played by actress Kim Seo Hyung) returns from her five-year long from France (where she studied about make-up).
Shin Ae-Ri grew up in the same household as Eun-Jae ever since she became an orphan when she was about 7–10 years old. Her family was on the way to the Goo Household in order to have dinner with them when Ae-Ri threw the clothes and doll her mother was supposed to give to Eun-Jae as presents to her father who was driving. Also because her father was driving during a storm, they ended crashing the car. Both Ae-Ri's parents died and the Goo Family has then taken Ae-Ri in since and raised her for 20 years along with Eun-Jae, treating her as if she were their own daughter. Later on, Ae-Ri became the girlfriend of Eun-Jae's brother Goo Kang-Jae. Then she left for France, revealing that someone was taking care of her tuitions for her.
After 7 years of living the Jung Family as Gyo-Bin's housewife (and also as the housekeeper to the Jung Family's mansion), Eun-Jae soon found out that her husband had been cheating on her with Ae-Ri. It turned out that he was the one giving out the said funds for Ae-Ri's travel to France. To add to this insult, Ae-Ri revealed that she had Gyo Bin’s child five years ago, named Jung Nino.
Eun-Jae's brother, Kang-Jae, gained knowledge about the situation, whereupon he set out in anger to assault Gyo-Bin. This event gave Gyo-Bin and his mother, Mi'in, reason to force Eun-Jae into signing up consent for a divorce. After the divorce, Gyo-Bin and Ae-Ri got married while Eun-Jae moved back to her own family's house. Ae-Ri went to pay a visit to Eun-Jae, demanding her to get an abortion. Eun-Jae refused to do so in which Gyo-Bin dragged her to a gynecologist in Sokcho, forcing her into aborting their baby. Eun-Jae again refused. Gyo-Bin then drove her to Sokcho Beach, throwing her necklace, given by her father-in-law as a promise not to give up on Gyo-Bin, into the sea.
This is legit revenge.

Hows that more legit? Temptation is about cheating (and what you'd call a shotgun marriage...) She decided to marry the man because she got pregnant, no love involved? I doubt that tho, dunno how the story goes. A lot woman give up their dream to be a good mother, so that does not add to the drama. Only by reading this I wouldn't go and watch it, but then again maybe I wouldn't with Nice Guy either.
Bad Guy, I read the dramapage, you made it seem a lot more interesting or I'm reading a whole different storyline.
I do agree about the money part on Nice Guy tho, that was a bit sloppy but both Maru and Jaehee knew nothing would change even when told the situation.

try no mercy and the chaser.

Really odd coincidence while watching Nice guy. I had paused and was reading random crap on Naver and there was an article about a Japanese celebrity I'd never heard of, Sayuri, wearing a T-shirt with Korean on it. Nothing strange so far, but then I flicked back to the drama and seconds later Moon Chae Won's character phones her up to ask about make up.

Hope it's not horror, imdb says so but other sources say its thriller so hoping for the best
Memories of a Murder is a pretty good one if you haven't seen it before. And here are a few others for those looking for movies to watch: Joint Security Area Tae Guk Gi - Brotherhood of War The Man from Nowhere War of the Arrows (seen it recently, pretty fun)
These are a bit gory but rather impressive Oldboy (a must see) Sympathy for Mr Vengeance I Saw the Devil
edit* Back from watching No Mercy + Show Spoiler + Very impressive, sick Oldboy moment

Just got done watching the Kim Taehee/Jung Woosung wuxia-esque film The Restless. Taehee was lovely, Woosung's acting was as usual solid, the setting was beautiful and interesting and the fight choreography/cgi were excellent for a Korean flick. Not sure what to say about the story. Plot holes or writers wanting you to use your imagination? It was enjoyable nonetheless.

Hey guys, has anyone still got the subs for Answer me 1997 (preferably for the 720p version)? I've been searching for hours but all the links are DMCAed and dramafever isn't available where I live. Thanks in advance!

I have 2 more invites for AsiaTorrents (last ones for a while) . As long as I recognize you, you should be fine (hopefully you also post in KMD). PM me.
I'm 1/3 of the way through Ghost, and I think the plot based on cyber crime just doesn't have enough substance to base a whole drama on. There's way too much technical jargon, and the average viewer doesn't know what is impressive/incredibly hard to do in terms of hacking or defending a hack. Hell, I'm getting lost in some of the technical mumbo jumbo and I'm fairly computer literate (it doesn't help that the Viki subs I'm using are mediocre at best, and missing some lines at worst). And, the main actress looks like a cuter Sunhwa (Secret) and the main actor looks like an older Doojoon (Beast).

Lol rewatched a few episodes of Secret Garden, just realized the last script HaJiWon was handed was Sector 7, which was the next movie she was in.
