damn ep 16 was a pretty decent ending, apparently there might be a season 2 looking forward to that.

I've didnt care a singlebit about A-pink before watching reply 1997 but after watching it, hearing eunji sing and witnessing her aggressive cuteness in general, she easily jumped into the top 5 in my book hehe although I still dont really care about A pink as a group.

Yes, Eunji is very impressive overall. Best idol-actress especially first time. Casting is good, she fits the roll and maybe she's just trying to act natural so it helps. Ep16 worth the wait man, the serie is well made. Dunno about part 2 but I hope they use the same director and writer, it fits the style.

Gonna watch NG before continuing my journey of AGD

Eh, I don't really see how a second season of Reply would work. The story was wrapped up pretty nicely in the last episode. Also, it's not like they can go back to the 90's again, and that was a big part of the appeal of the series.

Agreed. Cashing in because of a successful show rather than there actually being more to tell is always a bad idea. Reply was a nice little drama, better to leave it at that than sullying the name.

Apparantly they had planned a second season from the very beginning, and while I'm skeptical as to what they could do with it if the same writers/director is in charge I think they can pull something off. Honestly, Reply 1997 has some of the best writing of any korean drama i've seen. It helps that the scope is smaller than most dramas so that they can focus on smaller character development.

Nice Guy is the drama right now, really enjoying it. There was a finger and toe curling English speaking part in ep4, but otherwise it's looking like a perfect drama. Can't wait for more eps.

Took a long time but starting Iris now. I'm sceptical as to how well I will take this series as it the one genre which has completely spoiled me in terms of showy graphics, explosions and sexy ladies so I've always been worried I would think any Korean drama would look cheap compared to those Hollywood blockbusters.

Reply S2 would be awful. I know there are loads of financial reasons to do so but it ended well and it was only an AAA+++ drama during the High School era. Once they "grew up" it became an average drama that lost alot of its charm.
