Britney Spears just went dubstep (2:14) First time I have ever heard dubstep on mainstream radio...I could not believe what I heard. It's actually not half terrible either. | ||

Edit: the britney song is more house than dubstep IMO. They used like 5 seconds total of wobble as a gimmick. | ||

I'm really intrigued by Nit Grit's "Invisible Monsters" linked in the OP; the song is brilliant in my opinion. When I google or youtube Dubsteb in general, however, I usually end up with some reggae-eque music (which is probably more "true to the roots, I guess?). Is Nit Grit's more dark and artificial sound a genre of it's own, or is that considered regular dubsteb as well? | ||
