Probably doesn't even matter anyways... did you not read it the chapter? yes Acnologia is in 2 places at once, he at the ravines of time but it was too much for him to handle so in order to stop himself from exploding he split himself into his physical dragon form (which is currently on a rampage) and his spiritual form (his mind) which is inside the world he created in the Ravines of time, hes moved the dragonslayers there to use them as batteries sorta to maintain himself and spat out Ichiya and Anna because they were disrupting things by being there | ||

Acnologia is literally a stereotypical, cackling, mustache twirling evil doer. "I'm gonna destroy the world muahahaha" At least Zeref had some sort of motivation. Mr. Bad Dragon is what you would typically see at the beginning of a manga when the author is still finding his style, not as the final boss. | ||

Is it only living dragonslayers that turn into pillars? If that's the case, then why the hell did Acnologia kill him when he could have used him as a stabilizer? Earlier I thought this was because Acnologia wanted to kill all the dragons and potential dragons (slayers), but now it seems like he just wants to destroy everything and keeps the dragons around in the ravines? Either he's extremely quick to change his mind or the character just makes no sense. so crazy theory here, maybe since his pocket dimension and current predicament DIDNT EXIST BACK THEN he didnt realise he needed to keep the dragonslayers alive when he killed Serena? its obviously a bit of a stretch and theres not much supporting evidence but i think it just might be true | ||
