I had high hopes up for this manga when it premiered, but it kinda fell off the radar for me once I realize this illogical shonen formula is all I am getting. Still better than Bleach, haha... | ||

That MAY be the case for the earlier chapters of OP when Oda, a freshly debuted mangaka, was still trying to find his mojo, but the past 500 chapters have been nothing but amazing. This statement is only slightly less laughable than those Narutard arguing Naruto's art is better than One Piece's in every single way. | ||

Which art is "better" is entirely up to a person's tastes. Some may like OP's more, some may like FT's more. As long as the art isn't stick people I'm happy. Besides, Lucy doesn't need Loki. She has hax gemini now. I'm certain Lucy/Cana will somehow get past the first round, if only because they arc is supposed to be centred around Cana herself. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + Kana and Lucy pulls off unison raid, similar to this, and win against Fried. http://manga.animea.net/fairy-tail-chapter-87-page-18.html ; or like someone else said Lucy does something else with gemini.... or Kana shows some of her hidden powers (I hope it's not Kana... that would be so lame) Natsu vs Erza - and Natsu gets pwnt Elfman vs Mirajane - Elfman gets pwnt Mest and Wendy get the free pass Gray vs Juvia and Juvia forfeits It's really hard to say what will happen with Gildartz, though. Perhaps Gajeel and Gildartz have some sort of backstory? :S | ||

the first 20 or so chapters it really reminded me of one piece, but his style gradually changed to what it is now. and yeah, neverending fanservice haha | ||

Out of all of the competitors Fried is definitely the strongest and most versatile. Not only did he take out many members of fairy tail by himself and lock the whole town down in the festival arc, but he also was able to keep up with Mira in their battle. But because of plot-no-jutsu I don't think Fried is going to win. In fact, I don't think that anybody is going to become the new S-class because that new character is going to crash the party. And the fight with Gildartz is going to be funny because it's either going to be him raping some noob or just him sitting back and not doing shit. | ||

Here's my theory about Charlie's vision from one of the previous chapters: + Show Spoiler + The mysterious dude ends up killing somebody, and Natsu cries in reaction to that. My guess is that Lisana dies for real, since she is the only character I can think of who'd make Natsu cry like that if she died. | ||

But I seriously doubt they would kill off Erza, so yea you are right. However, it's hard to say that anyone would be dead. So far, except some villains and Lisanna who was thought to be dead (then turned out to be mistaken), no one has died in FT yet. | ||
