As for the girl: my first thought was that she's a dragon "avatar" or something, but since we haven't seen anything similar in Fairy Tail I think she's either another Dragon slayer or something of a counterpart/companion to zeref.
Especially since Zeref doesn't seem to be the "evil black mage" kind of a guy it reminds me of Gurren Lagann or stories like that where the "evil boss" isn't what you expect of him
My thoughts too,it looks like zeref / acnologia so perhaps Acnologia dragonslayer? Who knows..
Realyl wish there were 5+ more chapters so I could know wth was going on

yep just finished reading it. and no he's not getting sacrificed yet again. these red herrings are just disgusting. fairy tail summed up, show enemy, make enemy look powerful, make it look like someone in fairy tail is going to die, they don't die, they kill enemy, repeat for infinite chapters and arcs.

Isn't that woman the first master of FT? Could be you know. I really doubt someone who is the opposite of Zeref suddenly appears without anyone knowing of her existence.

It may be possible that she is the opposite of Zeref (death). She is in effect Life. As for who the kid is, an embodiment created by Life after all of them combined there power to become one to fend off Acnologia's dragon breath?
And the possible reason why he dresses like Natsu is that Natsu's character is technically the only one with a physical link to Zeref. Perhaps Acnologia and Igneel were once friends/comrades and they were raised together that is why Zeref has a bond with Natsu. Don't know why he forgot about Zeref's character though.
Reason I think that is Igneel's scales are immune to "death" magic that Zeref exudes, which we could say Acnologia also is, a Death Dragon. =)
Well, would like to see the new arc and how it develops. Maybe more interesting now. =)

That kid looks like Romeo alright.
Way to blow an excellent plot, Makarov sacrificing would be an excellent way to go. But they had to come back.
The girl with the wings saved them somehow, the author wouldn't just kill Lucy, Gray, Elza and Natsu like that. That would just be plain ridiculous.
Also, time skip. Why do I hate time skips so much?
