2. The most beautiful place on earth 3. A region claimed by both Pakistan and India Predictable but still good. Ironically Immigrant song is actually my favourite.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087720/ A Danish movie from 1984.. Very good movie, i dont know if you are supposed to be Danish to fully grasp the idea behind this movie but it certainly helps :D Its basically about some fine people going independent and not to be dependent from society :x However this is totally unaccaptable for the society and the so called "loonatics" must get back in line and live the boring standardised life dictated by the society.

It was indeed, unlike most popular Korean movies; I liked its predecessor "Why Has Bodhi-Dharma Left for the East?" even more. The latter director has made another movie, which is impossible to find though. The only hope is if some film festival puts it up again for some reason (quite unlikely). I would highly recommend Kiarostami's works too - "The Wind Will Carry Us" and "The Taste of Cherry". Also recently watched and amazed by another Iranian film - Mehrjui's "The Pear Tree". All beautifully shot, often quite slow-paced, usually dealing with the eternal questions.

Let me start off with a few Hong Kong Masterpieces: -Exiled(2006): A very good HK gangster movie from Johnnie To, about a guy who tries to quit the Triad Life, but it seems people have unfinished business with him.. highly recommended!! -Sparrow(2008): A light and relaxing, yet very intelligent movie about 4 professional pickpockets who suddenly share another passion together .. inspired by French cinematography and main char played by simon yang! I will post a huge lot more later on when i have time, Enjoy!

Had the pleasure of watching this yesterday and it was probably the most moved I've ever been by a piece of cinema, I really didn't think it'd be very good as I haven't seen Jet Li as a serious actor ever but found it to be an extremely well thought out film and a great piece of Chinese cinema. Don't want to spoil so this is an extremely vague outline but its about a middle-aged man and his relationship with his young adult autistic son. Had me in tears, lovely movie.
