It's a bit of a disappointment for me as well, but at the same time I'm already seeing a horrible social truth in this season. For me, that tjing tjong troll song has become synonymous with the potential changes that will occur on how we interact with social media/the internet as a result of, amongst other things, the IRL "fake news epidemic" and the world-wide internet war that they depicted so amusingly in the show. Just replace TrollTrace with the NSA.

Hyped! They noted how the last series they kinda went a bit far with keeping it in line with day to day presidential race and will stop that and will go back to a more old style of just making episodes on stuff that has happened and what not. Should be good!

Airs Friday, Sep 15 9:00pm GMT (GMT+00:00) in the UK as we have to wait a few days T_T

Thank god, that election was just overkill. Just having fun and simple laughs was always what I liked about South park. So much stuff about Trump left and right.

How is everyone finding the two episodes so far? I thought the first one was a bit meh, funny in places but i didn't really get all the "memes" in that one.
Episode 2 was just crazy good though, i thought it was classic South Park!

I think back end of season 19 they "went with it" after they couldn't make everyone stop telling them they were a couple. But yeah it pretty hard shifted to them actually being a couple now haha

Hm both episodes were ok, some funny parts in both but fell kind of flat to me. Opposite of the last 2 seasons for me (where I thought the first half or so was great, then started falling apart).

Episodes 2 and 3 were both hilarious. Better than any episodes last season.

What did everyone think of the latest season? I personally thought it was one of the best in the past few years. The character arc with PC principal and strong woman, then with mackay and ms conduct was genius. The rest of the season was pretty strong as well.

I really feel anxious about south park after this season. The episodes themselves are great but the serialized parts are dragging it down a lot for me. The whole storyline with making a female cartman was awkward and uncomfortable. The trump parts I felt were pretty good as they didnt hangover the episodes.

But the foundation's of the show are still solid so its still the best comedy outside of rock and morty.

I thought a few fillers were a bit bad during the middle of the season. The ending i thought was pretty bad end to the Cartman and gf, the nuking of Canada was interesting to say the least lol.

Was interesting though, laughs were had!

Man this was a pretty deep episode under the hood. The ending really made me laugh and the PC babies landed pretty well I think for a kind of awkward premise.
