The thing they did back then was that they basically had 2 scenarios produced and I am pretty sure they did it the same way this time. They wouldn't need to do much, because they would've only had to exchange Obama with Romney and a few lines in the episode for it to be airable. Actually they had 1 version, in the commentary to the episode they said they freaked out and if Obama lost they wouldve just do a voice over and explain what wouldve been funny if Obama won etc...
