one of my favorite tracks from the 2012 GSL tour was "I Hope" by Damnation Angels. There was also the other song Bringer of Light that they used for the Antiga Shipyard intro a few times and also, the S2 Match Start song, the X-Men theme as covered by Powerglove (saw these guys live like twice, once in support of a Sonata Arctica show and once in support of a Symphony X show, both bands whom I also enjoy). Powerglove live shows are hella fun with their costume armor and their blow-up power swords and other stage props. During the Symphony X show, they got on stage during the Champion of Ithaca portion of "The Odyssey" to play the role of the suitors vs Russell Allen, fighting each other with the power swords, haha And then there's also my favorite band Theocracy (lol don't get offended plz but they are Christian metal, despite how oxymoronic that sounds). \m/ hail fellow metal TL brethren | ||
