The thing about Kalafina is how easy it is to associate them with a moody theme and music. Their anime songs are not precisely lighthearted, plus they frills and gothic look fits them well (and I really like =). But once you listen to their non-anime songs, there is variety. Other than Sprinter, I tend to prefer the more upbeat songs, and Kajiura does a good mix in the albums. Progressive (non-anime) is one if my favorite Red Moon tracks. If you didn't get Seventh Heaven yet, I really recommend it. Matta Kaze ga Tsuyokunata (non-anime) is one of my favorites: I became a fan since the first single, but watching them live really is a different experience. The Anime Boston concert was very good too. Management was a lot more restrictive in AX than Boston, I guess because of the convention size, plus AX is a lot more industry oriented. I think i got like six autographs... it was not too hard once you figure out how they changed autograph line management this year :D Really looking forward to After Eden. Although they are good, it's cool to know that there's a deeper appreciation for the Japanese music scene in general. However, I'll appear to be hypocritical and post a Hikki song because it's too cute... lol. | ||
