Maybe they'll make Dendi captain/draft because of it rofl.

Great game. Both teams showing their respective resilience at different stages of the game. Liquid had superior draft strategy and didnt lose focus on what they needed to do to win.
Imo, LFY's best chance was when they won the fight into quick Roshan while TB was dead. If Veno wasnt dragged into thw pit and gave vision, it would have been much riskier for Furion to tp in. With Aegis, they could push objectives and regain some control but without it, Liquid pretty much never lost control of the macro game.

also i agree with kuroeaheeae. liquid is way too draftdependant

You don't get those sorts of wins over LFY by having 3v5... i'm sure i'm going to get shit for making this comment but liquid throughout the entire tournament looked very one note. Their games are predicated on whether or not they get their draft and if one key player like Miracle or GH doesn't get their comfort hero, they actually lose their games horrendously. I'm ready to eat my words here but honestly you can tell whether Liquid wins throughout this entire tournament just from draft alone. Can't say the same about other teams but well Liquid got this far for a reason. To be fair though, that's an insane achievement for winning a TI. Just by drafting better than anyone else. draft kotl = win games draft huskar = also win games

Man TI1 seems like such a joke nowadays with these bugs hahaha. Didn't some good teams not even believe it was rel and not go?

I mean, I honestly think most if not every TI winner (i have to think back on this) just wins through smart drafts. IG, Alliance, Newbee, EG. I never watched Na'Vi and I don't even know if I can really count their TI victory and Wing's is pretttttttty debatable.

i know the game is over but i just remember OD is good against morph. i guess even liquid forgot about it

TI3 Na'Vi vs. C9. Open mic streams of both teams.
10/10 would watch.

Oh they were actually told before the game about the Gem bug.
I thought they only found out in the M5 game.

Yeah some of the Chinese teams thought it was a scam because Valve was virtually unknown over there and the prize money was such a jump from what they were used to.

well after that tasteless series...
now this is what makes me happy. oh man TI1 ahaha, that music while we wait for the stream...

Liquid's strength revolves their draft so its understandable.
