Didn't you call gg in game 3 as newbee was up 5-1?

I wasn't here during game 3 I only called gg during game 2

ye idk unfortunately this series newbee lived up to their namesake with how they played, and liquid capitalised.

Missed watching everything live. Just finished game one of LFY vs Liquid, it's fucking insane to think that Liquid come back and don't drop a single game after losing that first one in such a manner.

So sad to see LFY lose when they have been playing phenomenal dota all tourney just to bow out in nail biting losses to Newbee and Liquid. But its the final series that matter eh.

Liquid grew so much with each individual series that its actually crazy. If you put any of the previous series-liquid (liquid vs ig, liquid vs vp) against LFY/Newbee i think they steamroll over them quickly. But liquid grew as a team and found their sweet drafting spot and from there it was up to other teams to try to outdraft them

Kinda what they have been doing in many recent tournaments. I'm happy for them.

Damnit esports. 23 million dollar tournament and still we have weird champagne ceremony in a small room with curtains, an elevator ride to a red carpet leading to the road 'to meet the fans' which were like two dozen people . The fans were in the stadium, let them cheer there.

Also I laughed so hard at how bad that critical hit band was, felt so bad for the orchestra. Some highschool band quality.

Alright let's do MVPs again because why not.

5: Ddc, though he did have some bad games towards the end of the tournament (obviously Kuro if you count in drafts).
4: GH
3: Inflame. Guess a lot of people would put MC first, but MC had some really bad games and Inflame played a ridiculously good tournament. He's a serious contender for player of the tournament.
2: Sccc
1: Matu

I mean Matu was good but Miracle...... come on the guy played like ~20% of the current available heros and crushed it.

you also can't forget Mind Control who really played incredibly well in all three games against LFY and 1st game vs Newbee elevating the Liquid draft opening from very scary (GH's big 3 heroes) to impossible (GH's big 3 + NP).
