If these 3-4 man rotations fail to get a kill once or twice, wings are in deep trouble.

There actually is, you have to play a certain amount of tournaments and win and have a track record of being a stable team.
With the way the rules were setup they had no choice but to enforce them as is, because if you started making exceptions then you have people who were going to start having extremely wealthy organizations like EHOME/iG/LGD/EG/etc. trying to poach the best players last minute.
nope, you just made this shit up. there was no threshhold, just stop making shit up please. they could have easily said that fnatic had a good case to not play with era because era was sick for months and months. it wasnt a stealth kick, fnatic played with the player they played most of the tournaments before ti and bootcamped with excalibur. in fact era didnt play any tournament for a long time there because he couldnt leave his home due to his condition. valve could have just ruled that the 4 other players case is stronger than eras and it could not be abused at all. would just have protected era like they should have done, but they didnt and throw him under the bus. good guys valve. There actually is a threshold amount of tournaments you have to play (it is variable), you have to show a track record of stability. The number of tournaments you play is accounted for. A team that was just created 2 months pre-TI and shows decent results is not going to get a direct invite, especially with only 6 invites now. Good job at showing your ignorance of the rules. No they didn't, xcalibur was standing in after invites were sent. It was too late at that point. Both of you are wrong, stfu and watch the tournament. so was mason. sorry, you are just dumb like always and you cant even explain how wealthy organizations could abuse this because usually players arent sick for months... dumb as always, nothing more. Mason was playing for EG pre-invite, xcalibur was not, a simple history check shows you this. You're actually dumb if you think the situations were even remotely similar, and if you think Valve has some EG bias. Stop talking about this shit and watch Wings stomp DC. Thanks. even if so, it doesnt change the fact that valve destroyed eras career and if they ruled otherwise there would not be a chance to abuse the rule in a detrimental way to the players. to make it short because the game has started: the rule was bad in the first place and then they sticked to a bad rule, even though it was painfully obvious the rule was terrible. You've been spewing nonsense in this whole conversation string. No facts, and little understanding of the both situations. nope, i am right as most of the time. or how many players were willing to play with era afterwards and how well did fnatic perform at ti4? He found a good team to make TI6 with, and besides, it's all speculation, since we don't know who wants to play with who. 3 years later with a synderen stack...
"Since TI4", 6-4 = 3 ? Come on, you're just being silly.
His results have been rather similar after getting kicked from Fnatic compared to being on Fnatic.

I can see 2 or 3 points in a ton of games
But going for all 4 seems overkill in some games and can narrowly miss you kills

Around 4 million viewers in total watching, is that a record?

but with a completely new team of unknown players because he couldnt get a team together and fnatics placements in the important tournaments were always higher than nips. sorry its just a fact that valve didnt do shit to protect era.
