Even if the vg game with to a 3rd match theres 1hour and 24mins left before liquid vs DC that seems so far away, its not even like teams need rest for their next match, everyone is just playing one series today.

Watch xiao8's stream, they(xiao8, chuan, hyhy) play a game between games to pass the time.

What a gross misuse of time by nanyang. These guys couldve made the LR games Bo3 with all this dead airtime.

well they probably didn't expect a secret stomping of VP or vg to finish game 2 quickly too. i mean things could have easily gone the other way lol

a tad longer game 3 would have delayed the next game, now we don't get a game 3 and people cry about the waiting time... Probably same people that complain about failed schedules if the game would have been delayed by 30 minutes...

No. They are not at fault. The 1 hour was for the possible game 3.

if they wanted to, they probably could have fit the lgd cdec game in, the tournament started a bit later than usual and wasnt the break between secret and vg super long? i remember watching it with the sunout and its nearly 10pm here O_o

if you time the disruption to last during the actual position recall, glimpse doesn't work. I think in all cases if Shadow demon gets the disruption before the recall it would work as the disruption duration is long enough.

I would prefer them to just stick to the schedule. This is the way a lot of broadcasting works, you give the viewers a time when the match is going to start and then you stick to it. In dota the standard is generally to have a schedule but the times in that schedule actually don't mean anything, games can start earlier or generally several hours after the original time. If they actually stick to a time I don't have to sit in front of my computer wondering when the game is going to start but instead can do other stuff and come back for the game.

it's hard to stick to it though when game lengths are unpredictable, plus you can have 2 or 3 game series

and tiebreaks for groups too lol

Yeah id rather MLG had this so i didn't have to wait 3 hours after schedule time to watch EG play etc. Id take down time over actually being told a specific time for when a game/series starts xD

1 hour per game feels reasonable. So 3 hours for a Bo3. Adapt if necessary.

I'd actually prefer if games stick to schedule. You give me a time (or new time if schedule has to be changed), and I can come back when it starts. Instead, we face many situations when games start randomly, and only way to know is if you watch the stream all the way.

IMHO the only people who would complain are people who are in a different time zone. It's hard to stay awake at some ungodly hour waiting for a game to start in 1hr time.

Can't please everyone. Put too many games and you go over schedule, nobody knows when the game they want to see is actually going on, the day drags past midnight and everyone is angry. Give more time and people rage that they have to wait to watch games, because they can't just go fucking do something else during that time.

Can't win tbh.
