so did Navi pick VG or the other way around ?
VG had a higher place so I'd guess VG picked Na'Vi.

This is why Koreans beat other regions in every video game that they have a lot of teams in. This is with their domestic scene basically folding with KDL being done. If Korean dota had half the support that Korean LoL has they would be much further. Of course. They'd have taken over by now. Chinese LoL teams have already given up and started to buy Korean players for their teams. Korean teams can't financially keep most of their top players because of the huge gap in pay between China and Korea. I know. I follow both scenes, though I am a Dota fan first. The Chinese won't ever be able to do what Koreans do in video games, because there is a fundamental difference in attitude. Of that, I was always sure. It's why, even in years when the Chinese win, I said that they won't take over. They simply lack the culture for it. Which is funny because Korea has assimilated many Chinese culture. Since the founding of Joseon Korean culture has been hugely influenced by Confucianism. I don't think that has anything to do with it. The culture I'm talking about is the attitude of Korean professionals, who do whatever it takes to improve their own game, and spend 14 hours a day, every day, to do it. The Chinese managers in LoL have talked about it and why they need to import Korean players - because Chinese players just lack the same attitude. We see that in Dota too. For example, Newbee not playing Dota for six months, iG not practicing during practice time, etc. Now I'm curious where did you find how IG doesn't practice? Do you understand Chinese? It's pretty obvious when you look at twitch. ???? | ||
