The same reason they kept Incontrol and IdrA when they were on their downward spirals as players (and even re-recruited IdrA for their HotS team like crazy people, though I can't remember if that was EG for sure or not)

Lol what do you mean? IG and Newbee show up to work everyday after their post TI holiday. They live where they work. They can't just go home whenever they want.

Yeah that's fair, it's not just "they introduced Octarine," it's like "they introduced Octarine, and they buffed some heroes, and Bloodstone builds out of Soul Ring and is more popular, and people remembered that Lesh is good, and..."
