omg I can't imagine the sparks if EE joined PPD's team. Apparently the offer was on the table but EE turned it down. EE also has a massive hard on for PPD I thought EE was on the shortlist, him and Fear. this is my understanding as well I don't think PPD and EE have anything against each other. I think it will do EE a lot of good to not have to lead a team and have someone else set up the situation to show off his biggest potential.
eg played quite well with ee as a standin when fear got injured a while ago. i think it's something that could potentially happen. there might be some enmity between jacky and curtis tho because of what happened during that team shuffle a months ago. i guess it's silly to speculate about this stuff. there is a good number of decent carry players as free agents in na currently - yawar, tralf, ritsu, patsoul (is he still around?) to name a few

Also, can we say without trolling now that VG with Black^ would do better or have we to wait until VG gets eliminated ? Well at least they wouldn't have done worse, this much is pretty 100% Considering that Black^ consistently has some of the worst TI results, i would say VG would do at least as well with Hao as they did with Black^.

Can someone give me a really quick and dirty summary of the metagame shifts? n 6.84, a bunch of new items were introduced that made Int-based cores like Leshrac, Storm, and core Lina much more viable. Gyro also received some buffs, making him a top-tier carry (primarily due to his strong lane presence for a hero who scales so well late) Quick question regarding this Eventually none of the new items is core item in the carry int Of course ocatarine is a good super late game item But it isn't the first choise item Instead it was the resurgence of bloodstone that create carry int And eul to lesser extend, previously a support item Yeah that's fair, it's not just "they introduced Octarine," it's like "they introduced Octarine, and they buffed some heroes, and Bloodstone builds out of Soul Ring and is more popular, and people remembered that Lesh is good, and..." I think the potential to get Octarine super late makes picking int cores more viable, even if it isn't actually a core item

This is a very close game to call but MVP did survive a group I think to be more challenging so I think they have what it takes to win.

The biggest RPG player was supposedly Mu and he has clearly shown his worth so far at this tournament. Every team that goes to TI take a break post TI.

the game is starting in 30 seconds
only 30 minute delay after c9 graciously gave our time back

He did the best out of his team, which shows his skill is still there, but the lack of team practice is obvious.

First four bans: Naga, Undying, Lesh, Gyro. The story of TI5 so far.

By the way, was there a game where Naga was not banned or picked yet?

Are they going to pull that record this time?
Your sneering's starting to sound a little desperate. Pretty much all your predictions have been either trivial (secret and eg are the favourites? wow, no shit) or wrong.
3 western teams in group b top 4, not more than 1 chinese team in top 6, empire the third best team, ehome not able to beat vp, cdec not able to get past c9, the list goes on and on.

Yeah, but this whole "Black^ is the heart and soul of VG" thing is going to keep popping back up cause people didn't even realise VG was a team before Black^ joined it. Maybe if Black^ was the drafter/captain/motivator who kept the team together, then there'd be an argument for it, but as it is, I think people are just salty cause Black^ is such a nice guy.

patsoul is in China. I could see yawar/tralf/sumail teaming together since they were once a team before sumail was poached. Tralf must be getting anxious with the success zai/swindle/ppd have gotten
