It is simply an All star team without much egos, because they all put the success of the team over their own pride. Zai was obviously an upgrade to both Fly and Misery and while I consider RTZ the slightly better position one player, Kuro moving back to support and pairing up with Ppy once again had the bigger impact. Kuro is a player whose plays are less dependent on farm which make him more valuable on that role and I rate the synergy of Kuro-Ppy higher than the one of N0tail-Ppy. I think that the team simply needed some time and right impulse (s4 taking charge as main shot caller) to really click and run like a smooth machine.

The problem is people that are so in love with winning independently of the way can't stand me. It is not my problem, it is theirs. Same with the Ppy lovers that can't see that he is not the same mastermind he was a few years ago. He is still one of the best but not the best. Reality is hard to swallow for most. I will say one thing Racket , i never see you post anything positive in any thread you post in, if its Alliance you gloat like a baby and now with this "BS its my opinion i can say what i want" , what you SHOULD be doing is show some respect both to the fans and the teams "you hate" so much , its a basic human concept that you miss while trolling this forum non stop.

I wouldnt say they dont have Ego`s... thats rather naive of you to say , all of them showed throughout their carrers that they do have big Ego`s.....

Course, they're going to be the first team to disband after it. I don't see Secret sticking together after TI 5, no matter whether they win/lose.

I don't see Secret sticking together after TI 5, no matter whether they win/lose. Secret was formed as a squad to win TI. Thats the clear goal and the reason why some players made "sacrifices" (Ppy giving up the drafter spot/ Kuro going back to Support) for that goal. If they fail to do so, I can see them splitting up. If they win, I see them being the type of team who works towards a goal no team has accomplished so far: defending the title. Thats all way too early to call, though.

Because who would wanna play in total harmony and trust in your team mates abilities which netted you over a million dollars personally in the last six months? Who needs that in life, seriously?

Just a feeling I have about the players on this team. They're all too successful to want to work through the TI curse and the slump that's sure to hit after TI 5. Puppey's Na'Vi changed its roster three times in three years. S4, while he did stick with Alliance for a year after 2013, ultimately lost his patience with that team, too, along with EGM. They've been there, done that, so I think they know what occurs to TI winning teams. They'd want to end on a positive, rather than a negative, and there's no sponsor obligations in this case. And in case they don't win TI, then they've failed the very goal for which this team was created. I don't think they love each other so much that they'd stick around after that.

You are totally wrong, you are specifically picking my comments and highlighting what you want. I am not like that, you are free to think whatever you want tho.

What occures to TI winning teams? Na´Vi dominated the western scene post TI I with just one roster change (which had nothing to do with performances btw) and did not change roster again until the retirement of LoH post TI II. It was not until the internal struggle during TI IV and their poor results there which led to them splitting up. Alliance also stayed relevant after their TI win in 2013, but crashed and burned in TI IV which led to them splitting up. Both teams tried and failed defending their titles which is exactly why I can see them being motivated enough to prove that it is possible. None of their players so far have thought about retirement (and given the immense amount of money in the scene I see it as not likely) as far as we know and if they indeed win TI I can see them giving it a shot after this TI.

"what occurs to TI winning teams" Na'vi continued dominating the West (and competing with the East) for 2 more years, iG stayed near the top with the same 4/5 players. Alliance got patched out. Newbee stopped giving a shit collectively.
