The global strat DK did that one time when Mushi played Zeus, LanM maxed vortex for the big -resistance. Fenrir maxed coldfeet today I believe in some game, because it's still a strong nuke in early ganks with say rasta. I still believe in the Lich AA cool lane ![]()

But as AA player since his introduction in dota1 - if you're middle then max Q, if you're in trilane then max E, if you duolane with CK you can run away with both. AND DON'T FORGET TO TAKE VORTEX LEVEL 2 IN MID OR LEVEL 3 IN TRILANE. Vortex op. Any suggestions? Don't get caught, i dunno what else can anyone suggest to you. Pudge is real annoyance in lategame though i agree but not because he has hook-rot combo :D

I will ask a question then. Not so long ago i discovered that this version of Phoenix is probably even better than his initial version in dota1. He's kinda like op in 2v3 situations on offlane that's it's not fun and we feel sad with friend when those trilanes are just dying somewhere while we're giving tangoes to each other. But i have other question. Are there any Phoenix players? Do you max W and E with getting Q at level 2, or some other stuff? Are there any cute items that can match him well besides mekansm, ghost, roa and other usual stuff? Also probably there are some high-elo supports who tried to run Phoenix as #5? Does he work without having basically nothing besides tranquils? I get the idea that he's well-designed for #3 or #4. And also his sounds are just horror. Thanks.

Force staff works while you're lasering, and blink dagger works while you dive. Phoenix as #5 is fine, he honestly doesnt need anything but tranquils and magic stick. The reason he's a decent #4 is because he can perform offlane.

Blink is ok. It's a pretty good skill to pick up, it's just not on the outrageous level of some of the absolute best skills (Waveform and Shukuchi have comparable mobility in most cases that don't involve initiation while also doubling as nukes, for example). i have never won a single draft game ever

I wrote a guide on him. http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/dota-2-strategy/442283-hero-phoenix?page=5#99 Pretty much 2-4-0-1 at 7 into 2-4-4-2 at 12. You don't have the mana early to support spirits, ray, and supernova at 6. Tranquils are the only boots I ever get on him, though arcanes aren't bad if you're against quas wex invoker, or have a team that needs a lot of mana. Urn, Mek, Shivas, Pipe and Halberd are the best on him (Atos is garbage, seriously a waste of gold on him IMO). You can play him anywhere from 2-5 though you get the most out of him in a dual or solo offlane position. Support isn't bad though as a lot of people underestimate how much damage fire spirits really deals and with just that and dive you can destroy most offlaners. Also he can recover a lot of farm in the jungle once you hit level 5 so you can always get your core even if you have a bad laning phase.

Whenever I'm on one of those heroes I and I try to make something happen I wind up getting stunned for days and bursted down without being to accomplish anything. I can never seem to successfully finish off anyone as they escape to easily. Also I always feel like I'm under leveled because I get harassed out of lane so often. melee aint melee, since ursa could go into the jungle and farm there. depends on MMR there wont be harassment and you cant get farmed there. seeker can heal himself as long as you get some creeps, so he is able to stay in lane quite long. sven needs some backup, a support who helps him to keep the creep-equillibrium at his tower. not under his tower but close to it. also the supports should harass the opponent so sven get some space to farm. later on, a BKB (black king bar) is almost neccessary on all melees since you wont be able to deal much dmg otherwise (when the other team locks you down). but this is all very general, if you want more detailed answers, give more informations like: - your lane-partners / your lane - who was against you in the lane?

I'm going to play a few games with only one level in Q early on and see if there's a difference. Shivas is a nice item after mek. I'll sometimes buy a vit booster after mek, then make shivas. Like other auras, shivas persists while you're in sun form. Also, you can use shivas while diving, and that will basically guarantee you hit everyone with the frost wave. Veil is good too, especially if you have other heavy magic users on your team. Radiance is pretty cute, and I think radiance burn persists during sun form as well. Bloodseeker's only position to play is midlane basically, other stuff is ridiculously bad for him. He just farms creeps, heal and do nothing before 6 and then you counter him with tp or smash if you have some support nearby. Then again. It's a like an annoying fly. Sven is one of the most universal heroes in game, you can play every position with him with almost same success. Anyway, i rarely see him played as mid or support in DotA 2, so Sven is just bad to ganks especially if he goes midas route. He will outscale every other carry in lategame but you deal with him same as you deal with LS. Just kite-kite-kite when he bkb's, then bash and kill. Ursa is ridiculously powerful if he snowballs. Mid Ursa, Ursa in forest, offlane Ursa and #1 Ursa are all good. Even though, we play Ursa in 2v2 situations with Alchemist as support, i highly recommend this stuff. Basically, you need to have wards on Roshan to catch him when he tries to sneak it and if he skips bkb and doesn't get linkens, just bash and kill him. If he bkb's, then buy ghost, then same as against Sven and LS.

Idk he is never the common jungler. It's a waste to jungle this hero. He is better in lane. Especially in a aggressive lane.

Just so scary in lane. Sven is a jack of all trades. Less effective as support though.
