And what are dota 2 item values like in general - is the general rule that commons, uncommons and rares are all 1:1, or are some more valuable than others? No, some items just look better or have a nice effect. You won't get 1:1 for the same rarity of item very often. Often in trades, people talk about wanting '2 rr' for one of their rares, which stands for "2 random rares" which really means two trash rares that nobody cares about.

Also, is there a record that keeps the accuracy of pros when they use Meat Hook or Mirana's Arrow? I'd like to see Dendi's lifetime hook accuracy and SingSings lifetime arrow accuracy.

I want to practice Tinker but I'm afraid of being blamed/flamed when I do bad and I feel like it will be unfair to the guys there who'd do their best and I'm there letting them down or something. I doubt AI practice will do anything too except for getting last hits and shift queueing my skills properly. I get some replays of pros and good pubbers who are known for their skill with the particular hero I want to learn, then I go unranked and try to emulate. No need to feel bad in unranked. Once you got one style down, learn another and try to figure out which one is best under which circumstances. Chains is easily the best Tinker in the world.

I find I'm often very under leveled as him despite having loads of assists. if you get the kill youll get experience. also, ice blast has a short cd. you should be using it to farm lanes/push lanes across the map when it gets later into the game (mid-late) farm up items with this while doing other stuff with your hero and youll have enough items to stay in the thick of fights.

The global strat DK did that one time when Mushi played Zeus, LanM maxed vortex for the big -resistance. Fenrir maxed coldfeet today I believe in some game, because it's still a strong nuke in early ganks with say rasta.

Did I miss anything or is it acceptable now to see strong solo offlane heroes in the safelane? Cuz I also watched a youtube video (The one where Purge queues up in SEA Server) and Weaver went solo safelane instead of offlane. Also, why is it that blink is rarely a top pick in Ability Draft? Twice I managed to get it when I was picking last, and I even managed to get Epicenter one time and damn that initiation was so good and cheap at the same time since I didn't have to get blink dagger.

Blink is ok. It's a pretty good skill to pick up, it's just not on the outrageous level of some of the absolute best skills (Waveform and Shukuchi have comparable mobility in most cases that don't involve initiation while also doubling as nukes, for example).
