But just kind of wondering if this will fall off at higher mmr or if I can continue to do it. Also ive seen the wildkin stacking options, but not really big fan of that given the chance involved. Not sure if vlads radiance is the build you want. I've seen people have good success with phase/blink/shiva -> refresher.
wouldnt that be more of a support and less of a carry build?
I mean the cost of Blink, Refresher, Shiva is pretty close to the same as Radiance, heart, Vlads.
I mean double doom is obviously good, and I often use blink as well, but I dont really see how that would be better than a carry build in the late game, assuming you went midas.

caster doom is carry doom double doom is generally going to accomplish far more than any autoattack damage you could have put out with carry doom

Well Radiance heart isnt really for auto attack damage, its more like a tank huge damage and dish out a fair amount as well through auras. Although I see what your saying.

Obviously he's a situational pick at best in competitive play, but with how much he can shut down heros who rely heavily on mobility (storm, weaver, etc.), couldn't he be a good pick occasionally? Does it just come down to the difficulty of fitting him into a lane setup (not worth giving the safelane, can be shut down mid)? Could he be a viable offlaner vs weak safelanes or a viable solo safelane when you're running an aggressive tri?
Also, are there any good fairly advanced support guides out there? I'm really unsure about what to do as a support in many situations (things like when I'm supposed to be pulling in tri vs tri). for starters bloodseeker is incredibly easy to shut down. he must get a 1v1 lane but even then he doesnt necessarily win all those lanes. if he gets a dual/trilane matchup he will instalose and be the most useless thing on your team. now if we assume that he is given a good lane and he can get farm, there is not much he can do with it. bloodrage naturally makes him hit harder, but it doesnt work with bkb. this means he either gets nuked to death/kited or he doesnt hit very hard and has to resort to using bloodrage on a teammate (also has to be a hero who doesnt get bkb, making team compositions very hard to draft with bloodseeker), or as a silence. his rupture is a decent skill but good players will dodge the damage by simply staying put in their current position. its far easier for them to avoid taking damage than for you to force them to move, as your team will have to be in a position where you can jump the target if he stays still. so really rupture isnt that much better than a stunning skill, and supports with stuns have much more utility overall than bloodseeker. so basically, his problem is that he doesnt excel in anything

I'm still waiting to see a support bloodseeker as a niche pick against things like weaver or storm.
24/7 silence at level 5, global thirst and rupture to make someone's life hell is... not actually that terrible. Obviously he does nothing in laning phase, but I'm sure it has to be possible to build some kind of global cheese strat around him.
The thing about dodging rupture by standing still is that if you put it on a mobility carry, you've either consigned a big chunk of their DPS to standing still, or you deal an asston of hp-removal damage.
I'm not saying it's going to take the pro-scene by storm anytime soon, but......

well obviously theres more to rupture than just standing still or moving. the target will have to make a choice on how much damage he takes in order to accomplish whatever he wants to do. but whether the potential damage output from rupture is valuable enough to warrant him a pick over someone such as, beastmaster for example, is pretty questionable. the only draft where i can legitimately see him being picked is with an invoker/furion/aa, in order to maximise the use of his thirst. however, his initial problems in regards to laning and awkward item development etc is still there so well see.

And max clap and passive in a sidelane. Duo offlane brew + shadow demon is superlegit 2v2 situation when they have a useless jungler like LC.
I think drums are pretty bad on brew and not worth the money. Mid go Phase + Bottle + Wand -> Blink -> Agh -> Shiva/AC/Abyssal mix. Also imo better to let someone else buy vlads. Even though Brew is a really good aura hero those items are generally slot inefficient in his case I think. Most gems will be given to him so Phase + bottle + wand + TP scroll + blink + gem + aghs is already 7 slots. So you are already starting to replace items by this phase of the game. Better let someone else get vlads/drums.
Side go Arcanes Magic wand/stick -> blink -> agh -> Shiva/AC/Abyssal mix. A bit more reasonable to go vlads here, but I would still avoid it unless you have a bad game. So Drums are NOT core on Panda then huh? Torte's guide has them listed as a core item. I put them as core because of how popular, usual it is to get them. I would get them nearly every game because of how vital I find them being used and personally used. Cool, thanks Torte. I only brought it up because it was the first time I heard Drums described as 'bad' on the hero. Love your guides bro.
Thanks (:

what ate the best carry and support to play against shaman? and how to counter him? I think if you force him to use his ult far away from towers would be the way to go, but if they are ahead this won't happen... every time I play against him is the same thing, he will always get towers after towers lol any help? thanks in advance

Bloodseeker is just annoying. You can't kill him, he basically can't kill you in 1v1. Farmfest. That's all because Bloodseeker doesn't scale well except for Q but you can just hit stun if he doesn't evade with bkb and he's dead. And even then, Q is using mostly to shut down supports against you or cc providers so if you don't have nice damage items, you're still useless.

Just kill him more and more. Rhasta is one of the weakest supports in 2v2 situations if you have proper focus and he doesn't have Juggernaut near him. He's slowpoke, he's almost always maxing Q so you won't find yourself in situation of being double-cc'ed 99% of time. Every lane with some kind of stun, even slow sometimes works. After it Rhasta will try to scrap level 6, and rotate with team for grabbing towers because Roshan is fixed now. First level wards are 2-shot for almost every hero, for some even 1. Just focus on them while you use fortify, don't focus on enemies, because this pub mentality is like - "Rhasta used wards, tower will fall". After you clear them, just attack because people tend to underestimate wards damage output in fights if ignored.

Interesting, i think a shield may block some lvl1 warddamage and a vangaurd will block even more. If your a meleehero, it could be viable to get a shield when there is a sjaman on the enemy team?
|
if youre a melee hero its viable to get stout even when there isnt a rhasta on the enemy team.
|
Yes ofcourse, but i havent gave it a thought until now that stout or a vangaurd also blocks mass ward damage.
|
there are not a lot of melee heros that don't get a stout anyways. Getting vanguard becasue of wards is a little overkill.

why is having a mek on more than 1 hero a bad thing? it gives regen in an aoe, and it heals. Yes the regen doesn't stack and neither does the armor when you activate it, but hell, is having multiple +250 heal really that bad?
|
the heal doesnt stack either
|
it doesn't? oh i never realized that rofl ty.
yeah that makes it shit then
|
two meks can heal, but not right after the other, i think there's a 25s cooldown between them but yeah, don't get more than one mek urn/mek is a better healing choice

Yeah, similar to Pipe, mek applies a debuff that prevents you from benefitting from any other mek heals. Though, that debuff only lasts 25s, and mek cd is 45s, so I suppose if a fight lasts that long, you can use a second mek, but it's pretty much not recommended :p
