pretty much confirms what i was trying to tell someone i had an argument with. He lost to ember in mid with razor and now thinks that ember is really strong and beats razor mid.
thanks for all the answers
@ last poster, you have to play a set amount of games with players on each side at the end of the game. The amount of games is determined how often you have been in low priority i think. (it should show you somewhere in red how many games you have to still play in low priority)

How long does it take to get out of low priority? Is it time based or do I have to play a certain number of unranked games before I'm out of it
1st rule of fightclub, no one talks about fightclub.

And max clap and passive in a sidelane. Duo offlane brew + shadow demon is superlegit 2v2 situation when they have a useless jungler like LC.
I think drums are pretty bad on brew and not worth the money. Mid go Phase + Bottle + Wand -> Blink -> Agh -> Shiva/AC/Abyssal mix. Also imo better to let someone else buy vlads. Even though Brew is a really good aura hero those items are generally slot inefficient in his case I think. Most gems will be given to him so Phase + bottle + wand + TP scroll + blink + gem + aghs is already 7 slots. So you are already starting to replace items by this phase of the game. Better let someone else get vlads/drums.
Side go Arcanes Magic wand/stick -> blink -> agh -> Shiva/AC/Abyssal mix. A bit more reasonable to go vlads here, but I would still avoid it unless you have a bad game.
So Drums are NOT core on Panda then huh? Torte's guide has them listed as a core item.

Is Panda one of those heroes where auras persist even in split form?
|
yeah. but before it only persisted where the split happened. i dunno about dota 2
|
I am pretty sure it persists. Thats why Panda is a good vlad/gem carrier, his pandas get the benefits.

Torte's guides aren't perfect, and although they are not compulsory, drums are still pretty decent on brewmaster. I still get them in most games, for example.

Does lifesteal apply on the additional damage provided by passive bash skills such as Sniper's headshot or Void's time lock?

LD is easy matchup for Razor is bear is slowpoke. In worst case, it's absolute draw. You really have seen a lot of SD sololanes? Since dota1 days i saw probably 3 SD midlane, that's all. In 2,5 years. Broodmother, eh. He's still capable of being on par if maxing Q instead of W this time.

Timelock is magical. Not all bashes are physical thou.

my gut feeling says the damage portion is magic, bash is physical
|
Slardar bash is physical and since it applies extra phys dmg to the attack, it is also leechable.
Void bash is magic dmg and as such not leechable (except for things that give magic leech aka open wounds). It does bash thru bkb though.
MKB is magical, same leech rules as void bash.
Headshot is physical (although the stun is blocked by magic immunity unlike slardar bash) so I'd assume its leechable but I can't promise that.

Thanks Firebolt. I've been getting them in my practices and they felt worthwhile. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't overtly bad. My follow-up question would be do I go drums generally before or after blink?

Play a certain number of games, pretty sure it says how many you have left. You can just play coop vs easy bots and go level 1 rosh into 5 man mid and end the game short of 7 minutes.

Can someone give me a very general outline on how to skill Quas Wex Invoker? I'm really familiar with Quas / Exort Invoker, but haven't really tried him since all the QW buffs, and hence have very little experience playing that build.
I know it'll vary game to game, but are there any general guidelines on how to skill QW, when to start putting points into exort, when to cap certain skills ,etc?
