This community lolz. When i say - use tp to farm, that's mean that you're pushing one lane, then use tp and farm another.
And this myth about "higher ms-higher damage output-more farm" is just lol. You're not playing with bots, noone will wait while you're gonna run around everyone.
And go, just ban heroes like Viper with 335 ms with pt. He's too slowpoke.

Uh we're talking about moving between jungle camps (and to/from the lane) higher ms --> greater portion of time spent killing creeps compared to moving around --> more farm.

If MS weren't such a high value stat, then Icefrog wouldn't have nerfed Boots MS twice in the last year.

You are correct on one thing. This is not a bot game and no one will wait for you to hit them. Which is EXACTLY why movement speed is so important! The faster you are, the more hits you will get in, the better you can position yourself, the easier you can escape, and the better you can farm. Viper have abilities to get other people down to his ms, its called a slow, and he has two of them. That helps cover for his slow ms..and you still need ms on him! Why would everyone and their grandmothers dog go boots if they werent useful?! For the 8 in one stat and 30 attack speed..for 1400? Please put away those blinders and you might just learn a thing or two to help you win your next game.

So, i can build drums/s&y/eul/bots on every hero and win?
|
Nobody's saying only build movement speed items on every hero. They're saying that it's a stat to consider in your item builds and can be more useful than initial observations would suggest (oh wow you run faster).
|
Things aren't always so black and white, you wouldn't want a hero with 4000 damage with 1 movespeed, nor would you want a hero with max move speed and no dmg/hp/armour etc.
That being said, there's a reason that phase/drums/yasha is an extremely popular build on pretty much every agi carry. It gives you a higher movespeed at the cost of some dmg over other kits, but it seems to be very often worth it.

As for the others it isn't exactly ms that is valuable it is mobility which includes things like blink and force and those items are amazing on large numbers on heroes.

You can and should build boots on every hero, yes. Drums can be built on a surprising amount of veroes as well, but is limited as while its not a complete waste, its not optimal to have more than one on the team. Thus it is usually bought by carries or gankers that also needs the other qualities of the item. S&Y is just too damn expensive for what it gives, and the ms doesn't stack with manta which is the preferred carry item by most agi heroes. Euls is a int support item, and a very good one at that preciesly because it adds ms on top of its active and also solves most heroes mana problems. But it is limited because of the heroes wanting it the most are also the biggest supports who wants to buy everything else for their team first. For mid int heroes like Invoker and Puck, euls is amazing.

Well dudes, you finally sound smart :D
Drums is medium item, imo. You're getting it if you're not sure in ur ability, for example, you're not getting drums on Gyro if you know that you can get fast bkb without any problem. And i don't think, you're getting yasha because of ms (if u're not LS, which seems like popular nowdays), it's just cheap damage. I remember joke 5 years ago, when S&Y was worth 5200, that some day when S&Y recipe will cost 0, world will end.

yasha is gotten for the movespeed and attack speed. it gives fuckall damage. i dont see how anyone could not see the logic in buying a yasha

We could say that about you too, thank goodness you concede that idiotic argument that less ms doesn't hinder your farm at all somehow.....

Who told you that i did concede? Guess, i'm just too bad to understand it, so chill.

No, you get drums when you need an item to fight and/or you need an all-round stats item to farm effectively. They're stupidly cost-effective for what they do and provide an excellent movement speed aura out of a nice, easy build-up. You get a lot of value out of it as an item.
There are very few circumstances where its bad to build drums.

There are very few circumstances where its bad to build drums. Not exactly. Drums are basically the same as an Ultimate Orb in terms of cost effective stats. The main reasons to buy it are:
-Easier buildup (aka great for supports, games where you need small shit RIGHT NOW, games where you are behind) -The MS aura (no reason not to have a 5% MS aura around) -Being a character who wants a bit of extra mana but doesn't have a good Ultimate Orb item he can build into. Most str carries who like Drums fall into this category (e.g. Naix/Doom) -The active. That's the biggest selling point to get it on heroes not covered above. Having that for early fights can make or break them if they're close.

The idea behind that is a bit different. Unlike Bear as another big Radiance carry Spectre with a naked Radiance isn't exactly someone who can manfight or even splitpush properly with just a Radiance. So instead of farming it quickly (and then farming lots with it and then winning the game after 40 minutes) you get small cost efficient shit (Phase/Drums, maybe Aquila or even an Urn) and use your ult to assist ganks and work with your team. Since that translates into kills/towers that snowball your entire team you then transition back to the Radiance later to set up for the splitpush/lategame stuff Spectre excels at.
It basically stems from Spectre having a shitty baseline to fight with asap (and not exactly being strong in lane) so you can't really expect to get away with free farm and a quick Radiance in most settings.
e: So yes, if you're having freefarm and get the Drums to then... farm for your Radiance you're doing it wrong. Either freefarm/low action game -> farming item or contested farm/high action game -> fighting item -> transition to farming stuff later.

Dudes, vanguard is good i heard. No need in building drums. And it costs ~400 gold more, no big deal. Get it for Spectre and enjoy, even if you're going for Radiance and not diffusals/manta/heart which's usually more profitable.
