Whenever I open chat during game or am observing and checking stats, the graphics tend to go a little flickery around the screen, primarily in the left hand side. But when I close the chat the problem goes away and everything seems to be fine. Has anyone else experienced this? No idea how to fix it or even troubleshoot it; I've tried changing some graphic settings but it doesn't make a difference.

When pausing the screen also goes completely black (not the UI tho), until unpaused again. I honestly can't think of what the issue might be. Just to check though, do you have anti aliasing on?

if the spawnboxes are still like that / correct? i know sentry vision is smaller but then i know at least the right boxes to not block it by myself. also for these "hidden" obs wards, could i use a crow to give me vision to kill those with ranged attacks?

And yes, a crow gives vision, but you're unlikely to have a crow that early in the game, and you'd probably be delaying your mid's bottle if you do.

In my test game I went Radiant mid and just rushed the soul ring after boots and didn't buy a bottle. I had to stack the big and small camps myself which means I often missed 1 lanecreep every minute since stacking the big camp means you arrive in the lane a bit late. The end result however was still ~120cs at 10 minutes without ever crossing the river which seems pretty good to me. The efficiency could be improved further if supports are there to stack more than just 2 jungle camps. Things you can do yourself to improve the efficiency include using the soul ring with STR treads and then switching to INT while triplerazing big camps, and stacking two camps at once using your C raze (autoattack the big camp at '53, then raze the small camp at '54). Downside, ofcourse, would be delaying your actual items by 800 gold, however the accelerated/safer farm should make up for that.

The idea is that Soul Ring gives you 2 free razes every 30 seconds, which translates into two jungle stacks or two creepwaves every minute. Next to accelerating your farm quite a bit, for mid SF it also means you won't be spending any real time in the lane where you are so easily ganked (which is the main problem with putting SF mid). For safelane SF it frees up the courier from constant bottlecrowing that you would otherwise be forced to do (and it's only 203 more gold anyway) In my test game I went Radiant mid and just rushed the soul ring after boots and didn't buy a bottle. In just about every case that involves a Soul Ring, my personal stance is to just not go for it. Bottle has higher utility overall - and I'd rather spend 970 gold on a Bottle and a personal Flying Courier than 800 on a Soul Ring. Why I dislike Soul Ring is; - it removes a significant chunk of HP early game implying more HP regen is needed, and - it allows for the opposing mid to get uncontested rune control which can punish you a lot. It's not useless (that's not what i'm arguing) but I'd rather have a bottle.

I read on reddit that right before he hits you, sprout yourself and hug the trees towards the direction that he is coming at you from. He's supposed to hit you and get stuck outside the ring of trees. If he's smart he'll ulti you when you sprout using the vision granted by charge. EDIT: According to the other Sn0_Man, the loss of vision will cancel ur ulti.

It's not useless (that's not what i'm arguing) but I'd rather have a bottle. Pretty much this. Soul Ring is 150 mana every 30 seconds at the cost of health. Bottle is 405 HP and 210 mana BEFORE Treads swapping is taken into account, which easily pushes that into the range of ~300 mana (Soul Ring's mana buffer is bonus mana and not base mana so doesn't benefit from this). You only need to be able to refill Bottle once per minute for it to outperform Soul Ring in this stage of the game. There's an argument for sidelane SF getting it, but sidelane SF should not be razing the creeps and going to farm jungle like that so early because it allows a LOT of farm to the off-laner if you insta-clear the creep wave with Raze. If the off-laner stays, you should freeze the lane and guarantee zero XP for him, and if he leaves, you should take the tower. In that scenario, you'd still rather get combat items (e.g. Treads+Aquila) that let you maintain kill pressure against the off-laner and control the lane--and have the supports stack camps for you to clear later, rather than getting a Soul Ring immediately and going to clear it for no real overall gain.
