What are the Main roles and gimme 2 or so champs that are the best at said role. I play League a bit but I'm just getting into Dota. Thanks in advance :D | ||

Well I can see there are quite a few different roles a hero can play but i was hoping to get like more of a base line. I do have experience in league. Where we a have a Top- Tanky bruiser Mid- Bursty ability user Jungle- Ganker Bot (ADC) Main late game Dmg Dealer carry (Support) Doesnt get gold Peeler Or buffer. Something like that I heard of a trilane so i know things are different but an over view would be nice. And then just some solid picks that are strong. Like for instance I played Drow and she was really lack luster and didn't feel like an amazing carry. I rather not have to play every mediocre champ. And would like to know ones that are strong. I like playing LIch for instance cause he feels powerful. So just a few strong heros for each role would help me have a good starting point. | ||

I remember coming over from League around two or two and a half years ago. Forget everything you thought you knew. You wont find a "baseline" in where heroes go to lane, that is EXTREMELY fluid compared to League, where champs are made for a specific lane. gimme a second and il find a good LoL to Dota guide.
