A friend and I have just started casting with the intention of casting for DGL next year (South African gaming league). We want to be able to analyze our casts so we can improve where we can but so far we haven't been able to view replays. Well, ask a player, they should have it with cast

thx! and to bad. Radiance+invisiblity would have given BM another bm-dimention ingame

You should be able to manta off anything that can be purged. You cannot purge poison touch because it is a physical debuff so you also can't manta to remove it. You can't purge weave so you can't manta it either. There is a list of things you can't purge on the dotawiki, but listing everything you can purge would be really long so I doubt something like that exists (in wc3 mirror image turned you invulnerable and would purge physical and magical debuffs; the notable bug in dota2 is ensnare not being removed by mirror image).
Cyclone turns you invulnerable and should purge physical and magical debuffs (but not universal debuffs like doom/dust). Whether that works properly in dota2 engine is a different matter entirely.

In Dota 1, since the float number was self coded it did show above units that are invisible to you without needing detection. Batrider could find invisible enemies just by guessing with sticky napalm, finding a floating number and then using dust/sentry/etc., making him sort of a soft detection hero.
I am 90% this is not the case in Dota 2.

So I just was in a game where this pudge had almost 50 stacks of his passive so he bought an eblade. How does pure damage interact with reducing magic resistance? Is the damage still 360 damage for the hook? Thanks

Pure damage is not increased by eth form. It will still do 360 damage.

How does his passive work with eth form?

Since pudge has a ton of strength, it uses the strength to do huge damage once he gets lots of stacks of it

So you have (1-.25)*(1-.16)*(1+.4)= .882 multiplier for spell damage. Say Lina casts level 1 laguna blade. Pudge would take 450*.882=396.9 damage.

Seeing invis units like that would be op haha.

What's the way to win against a Kunkka mid?

don't be melee or learn the tidebringer radius/cooldown, it isn't too hard to bait and dodge, at least in pubs

Alright thanks, i'll have a look at the purge wiki list.

Holy crap, IF did really slow down with the patches. It's almost 1 year since we last got new heroes.

If you're going to stand completely out of range of it, you'll probably lose the CS battle pretty quickly.
Imo the solution is just to bottle crow like mad. On heroes like OD, tranquils work too.

Forgot about kaolin and the other guy, I just saw Zet and the frostwyrm in that one patch I checked.
