There is a list of things you can't purge on the dotawiki, but listing everything you can purge would be really long so I doubt something like that exists (in wc3 mirror image turned you invulnerable and would purge physical and magical debuffs; the notable bug in dota2 is ensnare not being removed by mirror image).
Cyclone turns you invulnerable and should purge physical and magical debuffs (but not universal debuffs like doom/dust). Whether that works properly in dota2 engine is a different matter entirely. Manta is supposed to remove all buff classes, the only things it shouldn't remove are triggered debuffs where the actual buff can be removed but may be triggered to re-apply itself.

Poison Touch is one of the debuffs that is triggered to re-apply itself in WC3 (the slow/stun behavior cannot be replicated with a normal spell in WC3, so it had to be created with a dummy unit casting multiple spells in succession). This is why the buff is retained through Manta's Mirror Image.

If you're going to stand completely out of range of it, you'll probably lose the CS battle pretty quickly. Imo the solution is just to bottle crow like mad. On heroes like OD, tranquils work too. Tidebringer has a very long CD at low ranks. If you're playing a ranged hero, it's not all that hard to punish him for his CS to try and make equivalent autoattack harassment to his Tidebringer harassment. If he gets to maxed Tidebringer it becomes troublesome, but you have to punish him at low levels. Melee heroes may have it tougher because they will have to use spells to match his harassment, but once you are Bottle-Crowing this should not be hard.
TBH it's much more annoying to face a good Kunkka player who saves the Tidebringer bonus damage to deny with (you get the +damage from Tidebringer on denies without actually consuming the proc). Most Kunkkas just use Tidebringer on CD to harass, which is comparatively manageable.

My rule applies to the current interactions of the dota2 engine. As far as I can tell Manta is just flagged wrong and doesn't remove physical debuffs. Exception envenomed weapons, but nothing else as far as I've seen. Manta doesn't currently remove shadow strike, gale, ensnare, etc even though all of these things should be dispelled by manta. They all happen to be physical debuffs as well so ^_^ (shadow strike doesn't get mantaed, but it isn't a physical debuff; magical debuff that can't be purged)

Is it possible to find a lobby match on dotabuff without any of the players having allowed their records to be public? I was playing but am at work now so i cant use client to allow. I want to see the stats.
When building radiance on Sylla, if you can get a 5-6 min midas on LD should you? Will it slow down my radiance significantly? I played a game yesterday where I got first blood and had 1.4k at about 5min, I considered it but decided to go straight relic

Midas is a really good item on Syllabear because he needs level 14 badly and the gold is obviously very handy aswell, if I get it before minute 7 I dont even think about skipping it in 99% of the games. There are very few games in which one should not get a Midas on him, and most of those scenarios involve you not getting any farm whatsoever and even then Midas is not a terrible choice simply because you are so level dependant. The premise of this is obviosly that you are playing a game in which your opponents are not aware of the fact that the Radiance will be slightly delayed due to you acquiring midas. (tldr: pubs)

I think getting a Midas slows down your radiance timing, but speeds up your radiance + ac.
|
Midas on antimage, how good/bad is that?
I have a feeling it is rather subpar due to cutting into his bfury timing(which should be way more important). Am I right?
|
subpar, bfury just explodes your farm on am cuz of blink and u really want that asap
|
Midas on AM is viable aswell if you get guaranteed freefarm for 15 minutes

I have a feeling it is rather subpar due to cutting into his bfury timing(which should be way more important). Am I right? Midas on AM is a great item if you aim for a very specific timing. If I remember correctly Midas -> Treads -> Vlads -> Manta -> Vitbooster hits slightly before BF/Treads -> Manta -> Vitbooster giving you that crucial timing of being able to fight 2-3 minutes earlier.
If you, for whatever reason, land in a situation where the enemy team aims to end the game quickly (without huge pressure in lane) and fighting their 15-25 minute push is crucial this might be the build of choice. Someone else might be able to find the exact game (yangopls?) but I remember Burning stomping a push comp with that build.
For 98% of games, don't worry about it and assume it's bad. Just know that it's valid in a very specific scenario.

You can also get midas if you're under a lot of pressure and you know you won't get it before ~20:00

I made that mistake once, and my team lost because of it.

hey. just a quick question; has anyone got the cords for both radi and dire fountains? Same deal with ward cords, but for home base instead. Reason i ask is that more often or not i'm playing micro heros and when i want to bodyblock as i escape, i sometimes mess up not sending my hero far enough. I just feel it would be easier if i have a button that, in this way, sends me to base.
Thanks in advance.

Can Melee heroes mid vs Death Prophet? We played 2 games last night vs DP mid:
http://dotabuff.com/matches/327169029 http://dotabuff.com/matches/327595047
Both games the mid lane felt very tough - we ran Juggernaut vs DP and ET vs DP. The juggernaut said he found it really hard to get farm (perhaps this was my fault overestimating the viability of jugg mid). As ET i found the first few levels quite tough (her AoE spam off level 1 bottle was pretty painful) until my harass forced her out of lane. Can you effectively melee vs DP mid without supports roaming to gank?
|
what items were you starting with? did the dp have random gold is that why it went bottle first?
|
Jug started 3 branch tango (i think), I had a shield on ET too. Both games were CD so she had no gold advantage

DP also starts off pretty slow (280 ms until WC gets going) so she should have to at least respect blade fury since Jugg can use it on reaction to avoid the damage of Carrion Swarm unless DP silences first (in which case she's losing extra mana for just a little bit of damage).

Fairly simple question - how does ET's stomp work? played him for the most time, ended up cancelling(?) my stomp most of the time accidently
as in, literally how does it work. What do I press to make the big angry ghost stomp it's feet, and does it need to do the full duration
