In pubs it is mostly dual lanes so if you are the carry focus on killing creeps and the support can focus on harassment and stacking and pulling camps. Stay in lane as long as you are getting an advantage out of it, or if you need more items before you can fight. For example, you are in lane but you are getting out zoned and are hardly faming under tower. This is a bad time to stay in lane because you are getting nothing out of it. Try to get a rune and gank or when the other guys go gank you can get some farm. Some heroes are useless without farm (am for example) as these heroes I don't have the best answer for so someone else can add on to this. Usually I try to stack and farm the jungle, giving up the tier one makes it safer for you to farm. Pulling the stacks can be hard because they other team can just contest since they were winning anyways. edit: there are some examples, such as solo suicide lane against 3, where you just try not to die. Don't worry about money unless you are 100% sure that they can't kill you when you go to last hit. The money comes later in team fights and when you catch up. Ideally these heroes don't need a lot of farm to be useful. | ||

I assume in this situation you just have to call for ganks constantly so that they don't snowball and deny your levels and farm. But let's just say you did get shut down and are lvl 8 when their mids and carries are 3 levels ahead of you, what should you do in this situation? They will be pushing towers and with annoying gankers like sb and pudge you're not safe free farming.. and you can't join team fights with such a low level and no items. What to do? | ||
