Even draft better without Fly. Does anybody know who does the drafting now N0tail or Mad? Topson looks so good at Invoker and Ana on Ember seems to be the main hero. N0tail stepping up after poor regionals is good to see. | ||

Ana voted MvP but I had his 1st player perspective And any player would be a superstar Thet 2-4stack ancients, ce6 damages em with axes And ana comes in to just get last hits Over and over again He actually messed up, missing CS, dive wrong time, didn't go with the team when they pushed rax, WITH AEGIS (lol) But OG are the best enablers ever, even losing fly didn't harm them, And they finally have someone to enable I think this is a strong top8 TI contender | ||

More surprised that the loss of S4 haven't effected them more, but Ceb heroes in offlane seem to suit them. Like they switched the flashy heroes to mid and more utility to offlane. Don't know if that is reason for better drafts in general or N0tail is doing better. | ||

And Thomson is such a funny mid, remembers me of the early Miracle days. Just crushing the midlane most of the time even in matchups with a disadvantage like the pugna vs TA game. | ||

Don't know if Ana had beef with Fly or S4 and that's why he came back, or they just realized that he liked playing in OG and could preform best in environment with people like Ceb and N0tail. Sometimes you have to leave something to see how much you really liked it. It's Topson not Thomson hehe, but really think he brings much skill and some energy. N0tail improved so much from the open qual to the regional qual really impressed by the leap in preformance by him, maybe this is his spot. | ||

My only concern is that Topson hero pool seems really limited, and he doesn't play a lot of the "hard carry" mid like TA, SF or even Tinker. I hope he can play those type of heroes too cause right now i feel like for TI8 his hero pool isn't enough. | ||

Personally i am more concerned about Ana, he is the hard carry and played Ember and then a little PL. | ||

Topson also provides alot of attention in the draft by being a relative newcomer. 7mad's hero pool is also looking quite strong. I think despite the roster shuffle so late into the season, OG might place higher than EG considering EG looks inconsistent still with a lot of reliance on individual skill while OG looks more dominant with an emphasis on teamplay and macrogame economy | ||

I have mixed feeling about this day 1, and that's because they put up a fight vs Liquid that i didn't expect. I expected a 2-0 loss but a lot more stompy. And because of that i stared hoping they could win (especially game 1) and they didn't. Also they didn't win for some really questionable individual plays by Ana and Topson that could have been avoided. I can excuse Topson, i feel like he didnt play bad, he just has to adapt to this level of competition, this is not only his firts TI, but also his first big LAN event. He's playing too overaggressive and overconfident, knd of pub style, and you can't do that vs teams like Liquid. I can't excuse Ana, both his games vs Liquid were bad, especially on MK he made too many errors, yea he recovered, but even in late game some key errors by him cost OG the game. Ceb, NoTail and Jerax instead played all really well, especially Ceb and NoTail made some great plays overall. (Also Jerax Tusk still a beast, little less impressed by his Shaker) | ||
